Hey everyone! This is Sabrina with a fun Life Crafted project. I decided to use the amazing new stamp set- Get Messy - as my focus. This stamp set is the perfect stamp sets for all the makers, documenting the crafty projects and celebrating all things creative.
I pulled a few photos to document myself and creative aspects in August and I used the Maggie Holmes 6x8 paper pad Sweet Story. I was inspired by the paper with the various funky frames on it and went with that to come up with a design around it. I cut out the pink and green frames and measured the inside of the frames so I could fit some photos in there. Even though the spots are SUPER tiny I knew it would still make for a unique way to document and frame creative aspects of my month in August.
Once I had the photos adhered to the frames I decided to do a horizontal design across both pages. I then added in some diecuts to go above and below the frames. My next stamp was to add in a bunch of different phrases from the Get Messy stamp set like 'creative queen', 'get creative', 'yes', and 'creative space'.
For my title I stamped out 'my space' and didn't worry too much if the letters were straight; but I didn't like how the title reminded me of an old network website- 'myspace'. Remember that place? So I added in 'favorite' above the space as a fun way to say 'my favorite space'.
My final touch was to add 2 chipboard stars and stamped hearts. I love how this spread came together and I know I will be using the stamp set- Get Messy- for many more projects.
Hey crafty friends! Today I am sharing Day 19 in my 2019 December Daily album. I can't even begin to think about 2020's album until I get this done! I've used a wide selection of the digital files available this month, as well as two of the new stamp sets and the Sparkle & Joy kit.
Day 19 was all about watching a classic Christmas movie by the tree and snacking on holiday treats. On my left-hand side page I've used one of the digital TN pages and layered it with ephemera from the Sparkle & Joy kit and the Tickets & Tags diecuts. I used the gorgeous new Big Numbers stamps to display my day at the top, and the Currently stamp to create a custom title.
On my right page I used a selection of the digital Journal Cards and decorated them with stickers and ephemera from the Sparkle & Joy kit. I love the texture the puffy stickers add! The right card is actually one of the digital Tags from Sparkle & Joy. I simply added stripes on the sides with colours from the other cards to create a 3x4.
I loved this speech bubble card and definitely had to add a quote from the movie! I created my journaling in Photoshop with a typewriter font and printed and cut it into stripes. I finished it off with a festive puffy sticker.
Thanks for joining me on the blog today! Happy December documenting!
Hi everyone! I have a fun project to share with you using the December digital elements and traveler's notebook papers to document our elves arriving.
I started with the "The Magic of Christmas" traveler's notebook paper and then added in the red paper because I know that would be a great to mat the photo of my elves. In our house we have two elves- Melvin and Matilda who have been causing mischief for over 8 years.
I then added in a bunch of the digital elements that I was able to print and cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I just got my Cameo and I have reached a new level of scrapbooking! I added in the black, cursive words, fa la la, some red star circles and a few other elements. My design was to create 3 main areas of clustering to make a visual triangle. I love how 3 distinct areas in the design make a for a beautiful and fun project.
I finished off the project by using one the new stamps set-Currently 4x6 - to stamp several different little sentiments. On the journaling card I stamped 'play hard' and 'she said'. I also used the circle stamps 'rad' and 'just this' to add more circles to the project. This stamp set- Currently- is so versatile and has so many options like simple phrases, title building, sentence building and journal prompts.
This project came together so easy with the digital elements and traveler's notebook. I love this festive page to document our silly elves. Happy December! Hope you enjoyed seeing my project!
Hey crafty friends! Today I am sharing a hybrid page in my Life Crafted album using the new Instax page protectors and November's kit and digitals.
This is the first chance I've had to play with the new Instax page protectors and they're so much fun! I absolutely love adding in little pocket spreads to my Life Crafted album so this style is right up my alley.
You can find a template for both styles on the Citrus Twist Kits Fan Page. You can create little faux Instax photos or just use it for the sizing of the pocket.
I had fun filling the pockets with cut down cards from November's kit and plenty of digital ephemera from the Cutapart Elements. I used the Traveler's Notebook stamp and Legendary stamp together around this circle diecut as they both had the same phrase. Perfect for my subject matter!
For my journaling, I altered one of the digital cards in Photoshop to fit the 3-Pocket Instax Protector size.
I created a stacked title using foam alphas (Bubblegum and Turquoise) from the shop and added a couple enamel dots from the kit in the 'o's for a bit of whimsy. The background card is one of the digital Legendary TN papers.
Today I am super happy to share with you an idea I had for my December Daily: an advent calendar as a starting page, a resume of the December stories as well and as something beautiful to open and close all the times you want. It's something magic to me, to can open a little door for each day and find a little story or a surprise or just a quote! I'm thinking to so the same thing for my DD2020.
How did I create it? It's so simple and you will have a lot of fun for sure!
First of all cut 24 squares using the 6x8 papers of Sparkle & Joy kit, size 5x5 cm. Add the number s from the beautiful CountDown cut files, Then I have cut other rectangles of white papers of 5x7 cm folded at 2 cm. On the little stripe you have just created folded the rettangole glue the square with the numbers.
I played a lot with the embellishments of the ki, so puffy stickers, clipboard circles, ephemera. I just added also pictures, 7 pictures of 4,5x4,5 cm and some stories written in squares as well of 4,5 x4,5 cm. Just mix everything don't overthink about how to place things just play and have fun!
Here you find how it turns out. I have used three page protectors 2x2. I glue one to another to create something like an accordion using the part of the page protetto where you find the holes.
Here you find a video about the creative process about the advent calendar.
Hope you will be inspired to create yours ad have fun.
Hey friends! Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you alla are safe and healthy!
Here we stay at home. home working, home schooling, home everything he he but I am happy because I'm enjoying the time with my family and positive vibes that this gives me. We are storytellers is it right? So we tell good and bad stories, what we live everyday makes us a growing person , a better person.
This time i have told the story of my husband accident... it's true we have one life but if we live it in the best way we can one is enough and we don't have to give neither a minute of it for grande! I have learned this lately better than any other time in my whole life.
My husband has been miracled and I am happy to tell this story just because I can tell a happy end story! It has been a rise and spine kind of situation! A sort of second possibility and I want to take it and do good things ahead! I want to live my life in a different way than before! So my advise is tell your real stories, not just the good and the special occasions, every single day matters, even the worst day has something to tell us!
In this days you understand, you really understand how much family counts!
I have used the amazing November kit Legendaryand the beautiful digitals! Just a simple story using theTN digital papers and some of the journal cards you find in the kit, the 4x6 card with a picture in the same size. I have fold them at 10 cm to create a sort of little door to my journaling and photo.
Learn something for the days that are not like you would and you will rise and spine for sure!
Hey everyone this is Sabrina for the creative team and today I’m going to share with you a project that is a Life Crafted project to document one whole month of stories for my LC album.
My project is also a 3-to-Inspire to give you a recipe to get you jumpstarted on your project. Here's the recipe: 1. use a digital template or a sketch 2. use alphabet stickers
3. use numbers in your project
I created a template to document my September and all the my stories. I saw the 3x8 journaling card with all the numbers on it and it gave me the idea to document nine different stories from my month. I left three spots in my digital template to fill in with paper and also printed out some November digital diecuts, TN basics paper and ephemera. I was now ready to build my project.
I matted my two main photos with the yellow pattern paper to give more emphasis. I also added in some enamel dots and a stamped sentiments to some photos. I used the back of the 3x8 card to journal all my stories from the month. I really loved using the November stamps to give myself a prompt for my story and jumpstart my journaling.
.For part 2 of my recipe- use alphabet stickers- I actually recolored my foam letters that spelled 'sept'. I recolored them using chalk ink and then used my heat tool to dry the letters. They turned a brownish orange and shrunk slightly, but I love how they turned out. Playing with your supplies and trying something new can be so fun!
I had a lot of fun playing with this recipe, coming up with the recipe and building my project. I hope my project inspires you to play with your November kit and tell your stories! Have a good week!
Hello friends! Happy Friday YAY! It's Lory here today to share a new Life Crafted spread, I adore the November Legendary Kits! They are gorgeous! I know I write this every single time I share a new pocket pages spread with you all but it's true! I am in love with these kits, they are just perfect to tell my stories and I feel so happy when I use them!
This time I have started my grateful album, I'm preparing myself to December and I want to be grateful I want to give thanks, I want to focus all my energies on the good!
I have created three starting pages, the 3x8, the vellum with a divider cut file Wild Child , it's so elegant and beautiful. the big 4x8 tag! Wow! This is just for me! So big as big is my way to write a lot! LOL Then I have added another spread about November stories of two 3x4 pockets and another one using one of my favorite page protectors,
I have mixed a lot of the main kit with digital stuff! The Digitals are so beautiful this month as always! I love to play along filling them with my stories. I call them pieces of heart! For the 4x6 picture I have added many different little details from ephemera and digitals and I have played with the amazing Legendary 4x6 stamps! Amazing! I love the gact that on the back of them there is an images sheet where I can find how I can combine them! So Helpful!
Here some close ups
My advise is to not fill the pages with a lot of materials, focus on the little details that give meaning to your stories! Enjoy the storytelling creative process! It's something amazing !
Hey everyone! Krystal here with a page in my 2020 Highlights Life Crafted album. Today I'm using the "Legendary" November Life Crafted Kit along with one of this month's cut files to create a page documenting a moment from July.
I started with the Dividers cut file and chose the "Today" title, which I cut from plain white cardstock. At first I thought I would use it as an actual divider between my pages, but I quickly changed by mind. I loved the way it looked on top of that gorgeous dark teal paper from the kit, so I decided to use that instead.
I layered the cut file with one of the words from the ephemera pack to create my title and attached it vertically to the left side of my spread. I love adding large titles vertically on these pages! I also added a bit of the lemon print paper from the kit to add more color and tore the edge of it to give the page some texture.
On the opposite side of the spread, I added the same two papers as a border to balance both sides of the page. I also brought in some of the yellow paper from the kit to mat my photo. That helped tie in all of the colors on this spread.
I added three small embellishment clusters around the focal points of my page. I created a cluster with one of the beautiful florals from the ephemera pack and a die cut that says "Oh my days." The black on this die cut helped tie in the black of my title and makes it work together.
I added a small cluster above my photo and another next to my title, and that is this simple page completed. It came together really quickly, but I love the end result.
You can see all the details of how this page came together in the process video below.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you back here again soon!
