Pocket Life with March Life Crafted Weekender | Patricia

Hello CTK Friends!  This is Patricia using the new March Weekender Life Crafted kit in my 6x8 pocket pages.  I pulled out lots of the fun new items available both in the kit and available digitally to create a colorful and fresh spread documenting highlights of the month of May.

I first picked a title card from the kit, then trimmed one of the labels from the 4x6 card in the kit, to adhere the new gold puffy alphas to it.  I stapled that in the center with a daisy die cut tucked under it.

The next pocket has a full-size 3x4 photo.  I always love the stamps and little details from the die cuts, and easily found a cluster to stamp and add to my photo.

The 4x6 card on the bottom left, I wanted to keep simple with journaling, but I had a lot of journaling.  That is when I turn to the digital elements available with the new kits.  I could add a lot journaling while keeping it small.  I added it with more kit contents to create a cluster in the center.  LOVE the new Weekend Life stamp with that file tab!  So many possibilities!

My pockets on the right are 6-2x2 and 1-4x6.  I filled four of the 6 2x2 pockets with photos to fit, and then trimmed one of the kit 3x4 cards to fit in the other two.

The kit contents were perfect colors and saying to add to my photos.  Some I kept simple and some like this 4x6 photo, I added a lot to it since it had negative space.  The trimmed pattern paper from the kit, helps to fill in that space of the photo and bring attention to the subject.

For the middle 2x2 card, I used a blank part of the same 3x4 card I used in the top pocket, so that I could stamp ADVENTURES GATHERINGS GOALS.  Then stapled and adhered a die cut and puffy heart to it.

Very simple spread with a lot of memories packed into it, but still light and fresh.  The kits are so easy to get this look!  Hope you get yours soon and share with us!

Life Crafted Pocket Pages with Laura

Hello everyone! How are you doing? I'm Laura and today I want to show you this cute Pocket Life page I created with the beautiful Life Crafted "Fierce and Fabulous" kit and the scrapbook add-on kit. It's been just so easy and fast to create!

On the first place, I choose the base cards. I love all the beautiful sentiments  written in the cards, it's a perfect way to tell your stories without much efford, the cards were matching together so fast!

Then, I added all the embellishments. The cute ephemera from the collection She's magic from Dear Lizzy match really well with all the decorations from the Life Crafted kit!

Then I created some titles and sentiments. These pink foam alpha stickers are so gorgeous, any title will look amazing with them! Combined with the tiny letters from de scrapbook add-on kit you can get a wide variety of titles!

Finally, I added my stories with the perfect journaling cards, you always have a big variety in every kit! I like to use my own hadwritting, I believe that it looks more fun and authentic (and it's easier, too!).

And that's all for today! I hope you liked it and got inspired, I really had so much fun creating it! And don't forget to check the shop for more cute supplies! Have a nice day!

Pocket Life Challenge with Tina Stepanova

Hey there! It's Tina here with you today to bring you a new Pocket Life challenge and hopefully to give you a few ideas and motivate you to create a new layout in your Christmas albums using the wonderful December Life Crafted and Add-on kits!

My challenge for you is to...
1. Create a flip up card/photo.
2. Stamp.
3. Use labels.

So I started by creating a flip up object in a page protector #2 using three photos and a piece of washi tape. Next I glued two labels together at the bottom of the upper photos to make the flip up easier to open. And then I stamped a few phrases on them using the Hustle & Heart stamp set.

In the lower pocket of the page protector #2 I simply put a "good things are coming" card from the Life Crafted kit and added puffy copper gold branches at the top and bottom of the phrase.

On the right hand side of the spread I created a mini layout. First I glued down and trimmed two pattern papers from the Add-on kit to fit into my Life Crafted album. Then I created a small cluster with ephemera pieces and stamped a few phrases with the Christmas Stories 2019 stamp before adding thicker embellishments.

After adhering the photo and the paper cluster I added some chipboard stickers and puffy copper gold snowflakes. And to finish off the page I put a few enamel dots here and there around the photo and added a piece of white thread to the tag.

And that's all for today! Merry Christmas and happy crafting!

XO

PL challenge with Laura

Hello ladies! It's Laura here and today I bring you a new Pocket Life challenge so that you can get inspired with this gorgeous new December Life Crafted "Hustle & Heart" kit!

My challenge for you is to...
1. Add some bling!
2. Use your handwriting
3. Use two main colors and a basic

So, once this is told, I'm going to explain myself, but you can take these prompts and create what you feel!

On the first place, I love to add shiny elements on all of my projects. On this kit, you can find these gorgeous golden stars, but you can combine them with some sparkling embossing powders! Get the most out of your stamps and play with different materials!

On the second place, I encourage you to use your own handwriting! It's always nice to see how it changes through the years and it is faster as well!

Finally, you can see that I used some pale colors on this page. My pictures were a little bit dark, so I wanted to balance all the layout. Another technique that I like to use i to combine only two colors and some neutrals. This way, it will be easier for you to match everyting!

And that's all for today! I hope that you got inspired and that you play along with this challenge! And don't forget to check the shop for more beautiful scrapbooking goodies!

Best wishes!

Pocket Life Challenge with Sheree

Hi everyone!

It’s Sheree here on the blog today with a new Pocket Life Challenge!  The “At My Table” Life Crafted kit this month is absolutely perfect for documenting family gatherings…especially when there’s food involved!  Here’s my pocket page spread…

My challenge for you today is to use some of those awesome labels and puffy hearts that came in the kit this month.  They are just so handy and versatile to use on any project!

I used the This I Life “Food Stories” stamp set to stamp on two of the labels on this spread!  I also used the digital versionof the journaling cards to add the text on the pretty floral card…so quick and easy!

The puffy hearts are perfect for layering onto other die cut elements!

For the large photo I combined one of the cut-apart labels with a puffy heart and the large die cut ‘heart’ word finish off the spread.

You can see my process in the video below...

I hope I’ve given you a few ideas that you can use on your next pocket page!

I look forward to sharing another project soon!
Sheree x

As you can see, this kit has such bright colors and so many cute embellishments, it's so easy to crate a page with them! And what I really like about it is the big words and phrases. And that's my challenge for you: create big titles in your pages, that way it's going to be so easy to know what your memories tell at a glance!

In this firs page, you can see that I combined one of the gold puffy sticker words with a bold card in the center, I love how the different typographies combine together!

I completed the title card with some diecuts and puffy hearts, they are so cute and the perfect embellishment to any page!

For the secont page I used some of the 3x4' cards combined with other filler cards created with the die cut phrases, just have fun with all of the possibilities they bring you! The chipboard stickers and the tiny alphabet stickers are the perfect finishing touch you need in your pages!

POCKET LIFE PAGE WITH LAURA

Hello ladies! It's Laura here and I want to show you a Pocket Life page I created with a mix of the Life Crafted kit and Scrapbooking Add-on kit. I love how easy it is to mix them up! The colors and all the beautiful florals and labels are amazing!

I started choosing the base papers for my pockets, a mix of PL cards and 6x8' patterned papers. You can see that they are quite simple but I wanted to add the fun afterwards with all the embellishements. ;)

So, the fun started with all the pretty floral ephemera pieces that were on the Life crafted kit, it's such an easy way to create your own filler cards, there are never too many flowers!  Don't you think so?

Then, I continued with the label stickers from the Scrapbooking Add-on kit from the collection Office hours by Pinkfresh Studio. So fresh and bright! They are perfect to add a little bit of journaling. You can layer them on top of your pictures or use them as part of your cards. :)

You can see that it was so easy and fun to create this page! Just add all the beautiful embellishements you can! So, I hope that you get inspired and don't forget to visit the Citrus Twist kit shop to see all their beautiful kits! See you soon!
