Pocket Life Sketch Friday with Jen

Hi everyone! I've had such a great time working with the March kits, and I have a pocket life page along with a sketch to share with you today.

I created a 9x12 page using some everyday photos from January. I used the main Pocket Life and Sprinkles kit.

I just love this little rainbow combined with the paper! So sweet.

This card is so unique too. Love the graphic look of it.

Pocket Life Sketch Friday with Mira

Hello!

It's Mira Jurecka and I hope You have some catch up to do in Your Pocket Albums because I created three sketches to get You going! Two of them are a bit unusual, because they are not full 12x12 size, but 12x9, so I had to get out of my comfort zone to create pages in this size. I really hope I will encourage You to do it too!

I've had plenty of pictures from our weekend trip to Barcelona so obviously they were waiting to be embellished and put in the album! I created my pages using absolutely adorable exclusive Citrus Twist Kits products coming from January PL Kit with a few additional embellishments from January Embellishment Kit. 

Here You go - each sketch is followed by the inspiration and a few close-ups:

I especially love this month's small flowerish patterned papers - for their subtle look! Also, these gorgeous colorful puffy hearts and flowers! 

Of course You can't forget about paper cuts with words and space to add a little something! Such a bright idea! 

And those awesome stamps & yellow stickers with tiny words?

 I was amazed with the happy mail from Citrus Twist Kits that came to my house the other day! 

For those of You who don't want to experiment with sizes of their pocket pages I also created a regular 12x12 sketch:

As most of my pages this sketch includes a lot of space for pictures and only two small pockets for a patterned papers or filling cards (the space, which by the way I filled with two 3x4 cards that I created by cutting one colorful 6x4 card in a half). 

With this left bottom pocket I'd like to encourage You to go crazy with adding as many embellishments as You possibly can on top of the picture! Doesn't it look fun? What I would do without enamel dots and shapes? I truly don't know! :D

Pocket Life Sketch Friday with Mira

Hello!

It's Mira Jurecka today bringing You my favorite Citrus Twist Kits challenge: Pocket Life Sketch! I hope You are already prepared for Christmas, waiting for the big day to come relaxed and that You'll find some time for Your crafts!

Today I have two simple pages from my album and two sketches to help You create something nice! Don't forget to share Your pages with us to get a chance to win a price (You can read about that at the end of the post)!

Here are the sketches and the pages that I've made using December "Kinsley" Pocket Life Kit:

This one was made with the pictures of my little girl and I, and I mixed these pictures with exclusive CTK papers from PL kit. The same pattern appeared in the kit in two versions: big and small, so I used them both to fill the pockets in the middle of a page and I like the consistent look that I achieved here. I added a few labels on top and I was ready to call it done! 

Instead of the labels You can use other embellishments, and I think the effect will be fun!

My second page is simple and full of pictures too, but I made a nice little trick here just to show You how You can easily change things up in Your album from time to time. 

What I really like doing recently is dividing one picture and putting it's parts into three separate pockets. Again there are four big pictures: two on top and two at the bottom of my page, and in the middle I placed exclusive cards from PL kit - just to create some base, adhered my picture and added single embellishment on top, which was this cute paper set of flowers.

I hope You like these pages. One more thing that I love about them is that they can be made in 15 minutes, so it's perfect project for this busy time of the year!

PL Sketch Friday with Jen

Hello and happy Friday! Jen here, and today I am sharing a pocket page along with a sketch! Let's first take a look at the layout I created.

This is a 9x12 page I created with the December Pocket Life kit. I decided to document a few pictures from the first snow we had this year. For this layout, all the pockets are 3x4 so that makes it really quick and easy to put together!

I also used the stamp in the PL Kit which was a great addition to my page.

For my title card, I used a few pieces from the cutapart sheet, along with the Becky Higgins PL date stamp. I wanted to keep the titles simple as my photos were colorful and busy.
