Pocket Life Sketch Friday

Hi everyone, it's Tara here back for another Pocket Life Friday. This month I was blown by all the fantastic goodies that were in the PL kits this month! I honestly keep telling myself each month the current kit is even better than the last one!

Don't forget to read for details on our weekly giveaway associated with today's sketches at the end of the post.

Here is the first layout I created using a 6x8 format. I really love this size so much - it's my happy medium when wanting to do one full page to capture memories. We had a lot of fun as a family preparing the boys for their putt-off competition with their golf coach.

Here is a closer look. I love the Poolside embellishments from the "Instalove" Embellishment kit and found some coordinating enamel dots I made in my stash. Plus the denim stickers are the perfect touch! I also used the Snarkfully Yours stamp  for my caption below the photo. It was perfect for this occasion.

The coordinating sketch for my layout:

I finally had a chance to try out my WRMK Fuse tool and make my own little embellishment pocket. I used some sequins from my stash and a few little bits and bobs from the Main and Sprinkles kit. I also used one of my heart dies to cut out a teeny heart from the 6x6 patterned paper included in this kit. The stamps by fellow Design Team girl, Jessy are just so amazing. I had to add them in on my layout. I loved the pattern paper in the Main kit and it went well with the mint stickers too.

Here is a closer look at the stamps. Stamps are a great way to add a little more to any project. The best part of stamping is the countless creations you can make with them by adding certain words from different stamp sets.

Finally, the last sketch for today.

For your chance to win some happy mail, create a layout based on the sketches in this blog post, post your layout to our Gallery or our Facebook Fan Page by Friday, July 24th and label it PL 7/17!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have some crafty time for yourself this weekend!

Have a lovely day.
Xxo, Tara
