2015 Citrus Twist Creative Team Announcement

Hello everyone. 2015 is here and we are ready for an exciting year of colorful and inspirational kits and a super fun and talented creative team to share their kit creations with you.

With 2014 wrapping up we said goodbye to Pocket Life designer WaiSam Ho and Jen Boumis and Main kit designer Jennifer Chapin. We'll miss them and their creations and wish them every happiness in their scrapbooking adventures.

Please join me in welcoming our new and continuing creative team. (We will be announcing more soon, so stay posted!)

Pocket Life Creative Team

April Joy Hill (United States)

Quirky crafter at heart.

Engineer by day.

New mom to adorable baby Hill.

Get ready for a new year of Pocket Life.

Hello 2015!

Amelie Mordret (France, living in the U.S.)

My name is Amélie Mordret. I’m 37 years old. I’m married and have two boys. The eldest is 9 years old and the youngest is 3. I'm from France but since since a few months, I live near Philadelphia PA. I started scrapbooking after the birth of my first son. I wanted to make him a baby book, and I have been addicted ever since.

I have always been really creative, and I enjoy drawing & painting. Scrapbooking has been a great avenue for me to express my creative side. I love making layouts and cards and occasionally mini-books.
I scrap whenever I can find free time. It allowed me to get away from the stress of my professional life but now I'm a stay at home Mum;)
I don’t really have a particular style, it really varies from project to project. I just love playing with different papers and trying new techniques. My projects often include stitching and lots of layering.

Janine Langer (Germany)

Hi, I am Janine Langer. I am 37, soon 38, years old and I live close to Cologne in Germany. I am wife, mother and I am the offical family photographer. That's what I also do for a living, btw, photographing. It hasn't always been that way, when I was much more younger I learned being a foreign language correspondent, I also worked for the German government. But that wasn't what I really wanted to do, and after I gave birth to my son and have been a stay-at-home mom for four years, I decided to do something completely different, and I love it!

I started scrapbooking when I concentrated more and more on photographing. I had the need to not only take the pictures, I also wanted to keep all the memories that came with the picture in one place. I think that was around 2006/2007. And since then I am hooked on it! Unfortunately I had to make a little break in scrapbooking, but now that I can do it again, I won't ever stop with it. It is my creative outlet, kind of like a therapy. :) And I love the thought of my son looking through all the albums, when he's a grown-up, maybe having his own little family!

I love being a part of this community, thanks a lot!

Olya Schmidt (Canada)

I’m Olya, a watercolor sketch artist by day and a scrapbooker by night. I have a weakness for pretty paper, notebooks and anything stationery.

Besides sketching my beautiful city, I try to do something creative every day, whether it's Project Life, art journaling, writing snailmail to my Instagram friends or working on mini books. When I create I simply feel happy and joyous, which makes me want to create even more.

Pamela Ho (Canada)

I'm a girl in her mid-20s with a degree in Business.

I'm a coffee junkie, paper hoarder and stamp addict.

I started off crafting as a card maker and only started my Project Life last year.

I love using it to document every little and big moment that happens in my life.

Trina Craig (United States)

Welcome 2015! I'm ready for an action-packed year documenting our adventures in my Pocket Life project.

This year I'll be using 2 Handbook albums to record life's important stuff through a mix of PL and mini scrapbook pages (with an occasional 8.5 x 11 page thrown in).

Life was a wild ride in 2014 and I look forward to playing in my craft studio this year, sharing how a busy mom and business owner keeps up with her Pocket Life.

Scrapbook Creative Team

Angie Gutshall (United States), Design Team Coordinator

Ashley Fowler (United States)

I am first a child of God, constantly seeking a deeper relationship with Him.

I am a wife, a sister, daughter, and a loyal friend.

Lastly, I am a therapist for adolescents, and a wannabe-scrapbooker-crafter always on the lookout for new crafty tools and anything related to paper.

Christin Gronnslett (Norway)

My name is Christin,  a 40  year old Norwegian living with husband and two kids, 7 and 5 in a small town south of Oslo, Norway. I first came into contact with scrapbooking  in 2002 after living and traveling in the US for six months,  but it wasn't until my daughter was born in 2009 I started to scrap on a daily basis, and I haven't looked back. So when the kids are asleep I sneak down in my scraproom in the basement to scrap.

I am a clean and simple scrapper, who just happened to dare to incorporate a few new techniques, but you will never ever see me fill a whole page with patterned paper.  I need my white space, like I need white walls in my house.  Words that have been described my style has been artsy, whimsical, fresh and colorful.  I don’t scrapbook to document, I am more in it for the fun and to just capture feelings, emotions and the many cute faces my kids make as they grow up.

Emma Wood (Australia)

Hi, I'm Emma!  I'm so excited to be a part of the Citrus Twist design team!  I live in country Victoria, Australia.  I'm mum to an awesome little dude, Zack - who features in the majority of my layouts.  I work full-time but in my spare time (when I'm not running around after Zack) I love to sit down and be creative with paper.   I've been scrapbooking for only a short time (this will be my fourth year) but its quickly become my favourite creative outlet.  I started with Project Life but soon found I enjoyed putting together 6x8 pages and almost all my layouts are this smaller size (the 6x8 size is so much easier and trickier at the same time!).  I love organising all my scrappy goodies almost as much as creating pages and you can often find me spending the entire day moving one pile of "stuff" from one side of the room to the other ;)

Eve Limacher (France)

Happy 2015!

Evelyn Yusuf (Indonesia)

I'm so excited to celebrate new year, 2015. I believe the new year gonna be awesome like before and can surprise me with good news.

I just wanna say stay positive, enjoy our day because life isn't complicated.

Life is Simple!

Michelle Wedertz (United States)

Hello! I'm Michelle Wedertz and I am so excited to be part of the Citrus Twist Design Team. I am a happy mom of three, a wife, a lover of books and coffee, and a scrapbooker.  I live in a small town in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in California. Besides scrapping and reading I love going on little adventures with my family, drinking coffee, taking pictures, and taking walks with my dog Rincon. I have been a scrapping machine since the birth of my oldest daughter in 2010 and wholeheartledly love the craft and the scrapping community.

Nathalie Leonelli (United States)

Hi! My name is Nathalie, originally from France, I now live in California with my husband and two boys. I have always loved anything paper related and, motivated by an intention to get photos out of shoeboxes, I dove into scrapbooking about 7 years ago. I love the process and I love sharing my creations. Kits are my favorites!

It is with great pleasure that I return to the Citrus Twist Design team in 2015!
