JULY KIT LOVE
Hello everyone!
July is here, we are starting the second half of a rather unusual year. All around the world we are celebrating the changes in seasons, and for many a sort of restart of a new way of life. So, this month we wanted to take the chance to design and curate kits that celebrate the "WILD AT HEART" moments that we so love and cherish.
This month's color palette was inspired by a trip to the California , you will even find original art by Trina sprinkled through the entire kit. Let's join Nathalie as she shares a closer look of the Life Crafted: WILD AT HEART kit:
Just love all the colorful and fresh designs of the kit! We are confident you are going to love it, too and will use it to document your memories in our Life Crafted albums or your favorite format.
Of course we have not forgotten about all the larger format documenters. As we do each month, we have curated a Scrapbooking Add-On Kit that complements and coordinates with our Life Crafted kit.
This month's kits feature a selection of papers and embellishments from some of your favorite manufacturers. We are sure that you are going to enjoy all the color, texture and fun this kit brings. Join Nathalie as she shares a walk through of our Add-On kit and some of the newer products arriving at the shop now:
We have an amazing Creative team who has been working with our July Kit already and you are going to love what they have created with the kits, stamps, digital files and of course our Life Crafted albums.
We are so thankful to you all for welcoming our kits to your homes, and have seen an increase on the number of monthly subscriptions. These has prompted as to start a Wait list for the upcoming release - August- as our current July subscription is already sold out. Please email us with any questions, and visit our shop for more information.
New kits, new albums and hopefully a fresh restart! We cannot wait to see what you create with all this new products!
PL Challenge with Alena
Alena here with Pocket Life Challenge for you! In my spread I used the wonderful this month's Cravings kits.
I decided to use cut files as digital stamps. I just added them using Photoshop to my template. For these, I needed PNG files . I also colored them in Photoshop.
Use cut files in a non-standard way.
Remember to share your creations with us on the Citrus Twist Kits Friends page on Facebook or by using #CTK, @Citrustwistkits on social media.

Open Post with Nikki Kehr
Hello Citrus Twist Kits Friends,
Nikki here, with a new Inspiration made with the beautiful June Kits. This time I take a combination of the Life Crafted Kit and Add On Kit.
The journaling card with the words "Happy Thoughts" caught my eye. I wanted it to be the center of the layout next to the photo. For this I tried to work tone on tone and set small highlights that round off the layout but do not distract.
I prefer to decorate with many different materials and sizes of embellishments. This creates a diversity and liveliness. I make sure that I pick up the main colors of the layout again and only set one or two accent colors. In this layout, the main color is purple and the accents are yellow and light blue.
Finally, I always find the right stamp and decorate the layout with small passages of text. Here I used the stamp set "Yes" in addition to the stamp set from the Life Crafted Kit.
I hope you enjoyed the little inspiration and motivated you to get creative yourself. I am glad that you stopped by and we will see us again soon.

Sunday Sketch | Featured Projects | Patricia
Hello CTK Friends! I'm here to share how I was inspired by today's Sunday Sketch. I instantly saw this sketch turned 90 degrees, and it also inspired me to cut a long piece of cardstock from the June Scrapbooking Add-On kit and fold it to create a fold out on the left.
After trimming, punching my holes, and folding it where I wanted it, I trimmed the long 3x8 card from the Life Crafted kit to stitch under my pattern paper to start the layered look from the sketch inspiration. Then I continued that inspiration by adding labels, die cuts, stickers, and stamping from both the June Life Crafted and Scrapbooking Add-On kits.
I used a trimmed piece of that same larger pattern paper, to adhere on the back side of that 3x8 Citrus Twist Life Crated card (there on the left by the fussy cut flowers).
I used one larger photo on this left side in black and white framing it with a Life Crafted die cut frame, and labels and stickers from both kits again. I fussy cut the flowers from the June Scrapbooking Add-On kit to create a larger focal point to draw attention to the photo.
I added more stamping using the June 2020 Traveler's Notebook, Cravings, and Yes Stamp Sets.
The right side is a base of white cardstock, with the same pattern paper from the left, layered and stitched. Again, I'm drawing inspiration from the sketch with the clustering of papers and embellishments. I finished that top off with stamping from the Yes Stamp Set.
For my journaling, I used a Crate Paper die cut from the June Scrapbooking Add-On kit to tuck under my collage of photos and Life Crafted frame die cut, then finished it with a heart.
I have two more projects to share from this month's Featured Projects. The videos are on the Citrus Twist YouTube channel here or you can watch it below.
I used just the iPhone from the Cravings cut file, making it large enough to cover my page. Did a screen shot of my phone, printed it and put it inside this cut file. I'm not as attached to my phone as my almost 12-year old daughter, so my phone isn't highly organized LOL. But like the journaling says, my phone may be old now, but it does all that I need and that is enough! (until I can finally get a new one)
I used the Yes Stamp set to add some detail to the home button. And used the Life Crafted die cuts to frame the phone. The papers are all from the June Scrapbooking Add-On kit.
I really love the alphas in the June Scrapbooking Add-On kit. The multi colors are so pretty and worked so well here.
One last project to share! I was so drawn to the rainbow pattern paper from the June Life Crafted kit. I grabbed the Loft gift card that my daughter gave me for Mother's day and had to use it with that paper. Since COVID, our store has been closed. So getting the gift card was not only perfect for me, but making me miss work.
I used the June Scrapbooking Add-On pattern papers for the left side, and ended up creating a grid with journaling and stamping, and a mix of die cuts and stickers from both kits.
I used the clear frame from the Scrapbooking Add-On kit for my photo and then used the die cut hearts to foam adhere from the Life Crafted Kit.
Didn't really need too much and didn't want too much on this right side. That paper is just too gorgeous to cover. This die cut from the Life Crafted kit says it all and was the perfect color agains the paper. I just used a bit of Scrapbooking Add-On paper to help it pop a little bit more.
You can watch the video below to see how both of these came together. Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have enjoyed these kits!!

3-to-inspire with Marivi
Hello again, I bring you a new layout with Life Crafted "CRAVINGS" Kit .Today 3-to-Inspire challenge that I created with the June kit.
These are my three prompts for you.
1.Chevron pattern
2.Splaters
3. # 2, 3x4 Pockets
With three of the papers from the kit I have cut strips to then fit them to create a chevron of different colors, then I have sewn the pattern, which I have placed at the top of the layout.
I have not centered the photo, I have left it a little to the left, to place underneath a card with a message.
I have also placed various decorations, a chipboard, a pair of puffy stickers, a star and splashes.
and the other part of the LO, is a page protector # 2, 3x4 Pockets with two kit cards and a puffy sticker.
I hope you like this challenge, I am looking forward to seeing your version.
I wish everyone is well and see you soon!

Life Crafted with Angela
Hello friend! It’s Angela and I have a new spread of my Life Crafted album to share with you. Cravings June kit is so inspiring and seams to be designed on me and my everyday routine. For example, let's talk about Pizza die cuts and stamps! You have to know that we, my family and I, eat pizza every Friday! I used to make pizza myself when my sons were small. Later, when I started working on night shifts, I stopped making it. Recently, during the lockdown, despite it was very difficult to find flour and yeast, I started again and since mid March, I've been making pizza every single Friday. Sometimes, I’m also able to engage every family member in making it.
So, the protagonist of my spread today is pizza!
To document those hilarious days of making mess rather than making pizza together, I wanted to create something fun. So, I made an interactive page and a shaker pocket. I stamped a big photo of a pizza and I cut it round, following its shape. To make it fit inside the album, I cut a portion on one side. This way, I've been able also to make four holes. Then, I cut a triangle of the photo in the shape of pizza slice and I glued it on acetate.
On the acetate, I stamped the phrases 'I want some more' from June Life Crafted Travelers Notebook stamp and 'get in my belly' from Cravings Kit Stamp. The photo of the pizza is interactive. In fact, the triangle of the photo slides up and dow. To make it, I backed the photo with white card stock, without gluing the triangle so to allow it to move.
The first page of the spread is actually the one with the two photos of my youngest son Filippo while is kneading pizza dough. The photos are 3x4 inches and I put them in page protector #2.
Beside, I used another page protector #2 with a journaling card in the lower pocket. With the top pocket I created a shaker, to remind the fun of cooking together. The confetti inside the shakers are red sequins and slices of pizza that I stamped and fussy cut using Yes This Is Life stamp.
Moreover, I used the same pizza slices to create a background on the journaling card, simply stamping with light grey ink.
On the opposite side side, I placed the photo of my men preparing pizza with their favorite ingredients. Beside is the photo of the big pizza with the slice portion 'closed'.
To decorate, I used just a few pieces here and there, like a chipboard, a die cut, a puffy sticker heart, all from Cravings kit.
On the back of the photo, I wrote another bit of journaling. I adhered a title using the die cut Pizza Night! and a label where I stamped Food Is Culture using Cravings Kit Stamp.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my fun page and hopefully feel inspired to create with June Cravings kits!
