Alena here with  Pocket Life Challenge for you!  In my spread I used the wonderful this month's Cravings kits.

I decided to use cut files as digital stamps. I just added them using Photoshop to my template. For these, I needed PNG files . I also colored them in Photoshop.

So, my challenge for you:

Use cut files in a non-standard way.

Pocket Life Challenge with Sheree

Hello friends!


It’s Sheree here on the blog with you today with a new pocket life challenge!  I love creating pocket page spreads in my album as they contain lots of random things that happen in everyday life that you wouldn’t necessarily create a scrapbook layout for but you still want to remember.  They are so much fun to look back on!  I’ve created this two page spread featuring the February 2020 “Possibilities” Life Crafted Kit.

My challenge for you today is to include a flip-up on your spread.  It’s a great way to include more photos and journaling and adds a fun, interactive element to the page!


Before I show you my flip-up, lets go through what I’ve included on the first page of my spread.

The “Take Nothing For Granted” card I loved just the way it was so I simply added into the pocket.  For the photo of the cactus flower next to it, I added a die cut label and stapled it into place before adding a little puffy yellow heart from the puffy sticker pack.

At the bottom of this page I stapled another die cut to the corner of the photo.  I then printed out some journaling and added it to the lightning bolt card.  I stamped “This Story” from the February 2020 Life Crafted Traveler’s Notebook Stamp Set onto some plain white cardstock, cut it out then adhered it above the journaling before adding some stitching with my sewing machine.

For the top half of the second page of this spread I added a label to the bottom of the photo, then added a staple.  To the right is the digital version of the “A story worth telling” card which I added journaling to in Photoshop before printing.  I then added a line of machine stitching and two staples for a little texture.

At the bottom of the page I typed up some journaling on my typewriter, then cut them out to add to the “1, 2, 3” card and stitched each piece into place.  Next to this card is where you’ll find my flip-up!

Our kids got into trying the broomstick challenge when it went viral recently and had a lot of fun with it!  On the top photo I used the word “YES!” from the foam sticker pack, then cut out one of the cut-apart labels, folded it in half and stapled it to the side of the photo as a little tab for lifting the photo up.  It helps to let you know there’s more to see under the top photo.

Under the top photo is another digital version of one of the journaling cards from the kit this month.  I added my journaling before printing, adhered it to the back of the top photo, then used some washi tape from my stash to create the hinge of the flip-up.  I only used washi on the outside, but you can also add washi on the inside of the flip too if you want to add more stability.  I added a die cut star to the top of the journaling card and another die cut and chipboard piece to the hidden photo.

 I decided to set myself the task of using as many round elements as possible. These can be stickers, stamps, or paper elements....I also placed the text in a circular frame.

 I   love PL cards and Ephemera this month. They go well with my photos.

So, my challenge for you:

Use as many round elements as possible.

  I love the palette of PL cards. They are easy to match with my photos.
 Almost always I use labels and stamps on my spreads. Today I combined them.

So, my challenge for you:

Use labels and stamps together.

  Choose labels of the same color as the cards. Lay them on top of each other. Use parts of labels on different cards.

PL challenge with Laura

Hello ladies! It's Laura here and today I bring you a new Pocket Life challenge so that you can get inspired with this gorgeous new December Life Crafted "Hustle & Heart" kit!

My challenge for you is to...

1. Add some bling!

2. Use your handwriting

3. Use two main colors and a basic

So, once this is told, I'm going to explain myself, but you can take these prompts and create what you feel!

On the first place, I love to add shiny elements on all of my projects. On this kit, you can find these gorgeous golden stars, but you can combine them with some sparkling embossing powders! Get the most out of your stamps and play with different materials!

On the second place, I encourage you to use your own handwriting! It's always nice to see how it changes through the years and it is faster as well!

Finally, you can see that I used some pale colors on this page. My pictures were a little bit dark, so I wanted to balance all the layout. Another technique that I like to use i to combine only two colors and some neutrals. This way, it will be easier for you to match everyting!

Hey friends! Alena here with  Pocket Life Challenge for you!

The format of TN album is very easy to use photos taken on the phone in full-length. I like the full page photo. Try this on your spreads. It always looks unusual and interesting.

So, my challenge for you:
Use a full page photo.

This page can not be decorated, and you can add a few stickers or stamping. As you can see, I've added pieces of labels, Tiny Alphabet Stickers, Puffy Stickers

 This month's set includes pink chipboard alpha stickers-this is my love! I used them to add color accents to the cards, and they also fit perfectly with the pink label on the left photo.

Alena here with  Pocket Life Challenge for you!  In my spread I used the wonderful  Life Crafted "Chasing Rainbows" Kit
In the Life Crafted Kit, as always a lot of bright and beautiful embellishments - all as I love.

This time I suggest adding as many yellow elements as possible to your spreads. It can be yellow embellishments, yellow cards, yellow patterned paper, ink, text, buttons, paper clips... Anything you want.

So, my challenge for you:
Use as much yellow as possible.

Look how I've done it. I like the result!

Yellow color is even present in one of the photos of my son.

I love using labels. This is the most versatile type of embellishment. You can cut them, print on them, layered  them.

So, my challenge for you:
Use as many labels as possible in your spreads.

Besides labels, I also used a lot of Ephemera to embellish my cards.

I love the final look of my page, the teeny little details and printed journal spread and stamping.
