Life Crafted with Sheree

It’s Sheree here with a new Life Crafted spread to share with you featuring the gorgeous February “Possibilities” Life Crafted Kit. 

For this spread today I decided to use just two of the colours from the kit to work with.  I chose the pretty teal patterned paper as one of my page backgrounds and the neutral lined paper for the other.  To contrast with the teal, I decided on the orange/gold colour then went about picking out all the bits and pieces from the kit with those colours to see what I could use.

On the first page I printed out the journaling onto white cardstock and positioned it roughly in the centre.  I stamped an orange label with the “highlight” word from the Life Crafted Possibilities Stamp Set and added it above the journaling.

Under the journaling I added two die cuts, using a foam dot under one for a little dimension.  Machine stitching was also added as a border on the page as well as on the journaling, the label and one of the die cuts to add some texture.

The photo was adhered to the teal page, then I added some messy stitching to the top left corner and around the edge of the page.  I used the “Stay Cool” circular die cut, added some more stitching and layered the black banner die cut across the bottom with some foam dots.

Some stars from the puffy stickers pack finished off the spread nicely.

Pocket Page Challenge with Laura

Hello everyone! It's Laura here and today I bring you a new Pocket Life challenge so that you can get inspired with this gorgeous new Febrauary "Possibilities" Life Crafted kit!

My challenge for you is to...

1. Create a cluster!

2. Cut paper shapes

3. Fill your pictures!

So, once this is told, I'm going to explain myself, but you can take these prompts and create what you feel!

On the first place, I love to add a great amount of elements on all of my projects. On this kit, you can find so many gorgeous diecuts, foam and puffy stickers! Combine them all together and you'll get amazing results!

On the second place, I encourage you to take profit of all your papers from the kit and cut some shapes out of it! In this case, I cut the number 25 with some metal dies and a filler card, I love how it looks! You can do the same technique or just cut the shape that fits better for you!

Finally, you can see that I added some decoration elements directly to the pictures. I believe that it looks more fun and vibrant! It's also usefull when you don't have much space to tell your stories!

Pocket Life Challenge with Sheree

Hello friends!


It’s Sheree here on the blog with you today with a new pocket life challenge!  I love creating pocket page spreads in my album as they contain lots of random things that happen in everyday life that you wouldn’t necessarily create a scrapbook layout for but you still want to remember.  They are so much fun to look back on!  I’ve created this two page spread featuring the February 2020 “Possibilities” Life Crafted Kit.

My challenge for you today is to include a flip-up on your spread.  It’s a great way to include more photos and journaling and adds a fun, interactive element to the page!


Before I show you my flip-up, lets go through what I’ve included on the first page of my spread.

The “Take Nothing For Granted” card I loved just the way it was so I simply added into the pocket.  For the photo of the cactus flower next to it, I added a die cut label and stapled it into place before adding a little puffy yellow heart from the puffy sticker pack.

At the bottom of this page I stapled another die cut to the corner of the photo.  I then printed out some journaling and added it to the lightning bolt card.  I stamped “This Story” from the February 2020 Life Crafted Traveler’s Notebook Stamp Set onto some plain white cardstock, cut it out then adhered it above the journaling before adding some stitching with my sewing machine.

For the top half of the second page of this spread I added a label to the bottom of the photo, then added a staple.  To the right is the digital version of the “A story worth telling” card which I added journaling to in Photoshop before printing.  I then added a line of machine stitching and two staples for a little texture.

At the bottom of the page I typed up some journaling on my typewriter, then cut them out to add to the “1, 2, 3” card and stitched each piece into place.  Next to this card is where you’ll find my flip-up!

Our kids got into trying the broomstick challenge when it went viral recently and had a lot of fun with it!  On the top photo I used the word “YES!” from the foam sticker pack, then cut out one of the cut-apart labels, folded it in half and stapled it to the side of the photo as a little tab for lifting the photo up.  It helps to let you know there’s more to see under the top photo.

Under the top photo is another digital version of one of the journaling cards from the kit this month.  I added my journaling before printing, adhered it to the back of the top photo, then used some washi tape from my stash to create the hinge of the flip-up.  I only used washi on the outside, but you can also add washi on the inside of the flip too if you want to add more stability.  I added a die cut star to the top of the journaling card and another die cut and chipboard piece to the hidden photo.

3 to Inspire with Lorilei

Hello!!  Thank you so much for joining me today!  I have 3 things for you to use a jumping-off point for your next project!

I am using the February 2020 Possibilities Life Crafted Kit for my pages today.

My 3 to Inspire items are:

1. Use a full page or large photo
2. Do a bit of ghost or messy stamping
3. Add a slight angle to your embellishments/cards or photo

I used a full size photo on the left side of my spread, I added a few embellishments to the photo to tie it to the right side.  On the right side I added a column of die cuts and just a touch of messy stamping to finish off the page!

 I love all the embellishments this month in the kits, they are so fun to layer!  As always I have to use the stamp sets!!

 I hope you find time to create something using my 3 prompts!

Life Crafted and Altered Frame with Patricia

Hello CTK friends!!  This is Patricia to with you today to show you 2 Life Crafted spreads and an altered wooden frame.  First, let me show you what I created with just the new February Possibilities kit.

I first cut one of the Be Mine cut file screens with the XOXOs from pattern paper from the kit.  It cuts the page to fit in your album once you punch your holes, but also cuts the entire XOXO page separate from it.  It got me inspired to not use it together and get more out of that cut file and kit contents.

So using the cut out XOXO, I layered it and stitched it to the February Digital TN paper, then layered embellishments from the kit to it.  I HAD to use the 'he is' and 'she is' from the die cuts.  I thought they would be perfect with one of the photos of me and my hubby on one of our bike rides.

For the right side with the outside part of that cut file, I thought the pattern paper I cut from looked really cool with the woodgrain pattern paper.  The paper I used to cut from also has so much lovely texture and goes with the overall feel of this memory.  I used a combination of the Possibilities stamp set that comes in the kit, the 'enjoying,' with a foam phrase & icon sticker from the kit to create my title of 'enjoying outside.'

The Life Crafted kits always have a 4x6 card with labels on it to coordinate with the kit.  I fussy cut one of those labels to stamp the 'enjoying.'  Under the photo I stamped one of the images from the the new Good Vibes stamp set and used one of the sentiments from that set to stamp at the top.  Then finished this with more embellishments from the kit and my date with the 3x4 Typewriter Alpha Stamp Set, complements my layout just right!

Once I cut up into a kit, I usually have a beautiful mess on my desk.  Well, I happened to look at the new wooden 'XO' frame I recently picked up a Target, and thought what if... So I did some tinkering and used one of the diecuts with pattern paper for inside the frame, and used the pattern paper to cover the wooden frame.  To get everything to fit, I just traced and cut.  To even out the edges of the paper on the wood frame, I used a fingernail file to smooth it out.  Very quick and simple...I just love it on my desk!!

Just like the kit, there really are many possibilities to creating with it!  Now, I want to show you a Life Crafted spread using a mix of the new Scrapbooking Add-On kit and the Life Crafted kit for this month.

I used pattern paper from the kit for my background on the left.  The woodgrain pattern paper with the punched circle has stamping and paste...that is actually leftover from my Featured Project that I'll be sharing on the CTK YouTube channel on the 22nd!  I created a cluster of Add-On and LC embellishments.  I loved that 'it will be all fine' die from the Life Crafted kit, and so happy to get to use it.  I added a bit of stamping with the Good Vibes stamp set in between the clustering. 

Another love from the stamp set in the Life Crafted kit this month is this sentiment!  Perfect for this spread.

For the right side, I used 3x4 cards from the Life Crafted kit.  One for journaling, and the other for the sentiment that tied in so well...I just added the same stamp image from the Good Vibes stamp set that I did on the left.

February Add-On Kit with Nathalie & Trina

Hello everyone,

Nathalie and I are popping into today to share some of the pages we made with this month's beautiful February 2020 12" x 12" Scrapbooking Kit Add-On. This kit has a delightful mix of products primarily from Crate Paper Magical Forest and Pinkfresh My Favorite Story. February 2020 kits begin shipping out tomorrow.

Trina's Projects

I went on a recent girls' road trip on the central coast of California. There is nothing like blue skies and sunshine to bring out the inner artist.

My first project didn't start out as a tribute page, but quickly morphed into one. I was working with a photo I took on my brother's birthday right after I saw a plaque set into stone that read "Sit and relax. Enjoy the moment." That plaque, those moments along the 17 Mile Drive and thinking about my brother turned into this page. The triangles and enamel dots became pieces of my fractured heart. I loved working on this project even though it was unexpected. The italic title is from our new Upper and Lower Case Italic Alphabet & Number stamp set. (NOTE: I pulled the antique lace and book pages from my vintage stash.)

My next project took on many different forms before it became this. Primarily it was made by playing around with small pieces of the pattern paper that comes in the February kit.

Nathalie's Project


Hi there!

This month's add-on kit is the perfect combination of color, design and sentiment which is the key to enhancing your memory keeping.   I wanted something soft and dreamy to document a recent picture of one of our Goddaughter's first day of dance school, so  i pulled some watercolor and just played with papers to create this page.

I wanted a background that was going to make everything else stand out, so i pulled a bit of Licorice liquid watercolor from Pinkfresh Studio ( available at the CTK shop) and using a large brush just added a few strokes on the page.   I followed this  with a bit of texture paste and a simple circle stencil, and set it aside to dry.

I pulled all the Pinkfresh Studio - My Favorite Story collection- papers, in the add-on kit, and vellum to create all the butterflies using a metal die.   I layered the vellum atop the paper butterflies to create the soft look on the images.  All the negative pieces of papers were then used to create the layers behind the picture.

Once i set the picture on the background, i used the butterflies to create three clusters surrounding the page.  I added a bit stamped sentiments around the clusters using the Traveler's Notebook  and  Life Crafted: Possibilities stamp sets, as well as some enamel dots from the add-on kit.

To make the color of my baby's tutu stand out, i simple folded the background and added small pieces of the Beauty of Simplicity paper and a few fussy cut flowers from the Bloom and Grow paper  -both from PinkFresh Studio-.  With so many beautiful embellishments, it was so easy to add a title and embellish the page.
