3-to-inspire with Marivi

Hello again, I bring you a new layout with Life Crafted "CRAVINGS" Kit .Today 3-to-Inspire challenge that I created with the June kit.

These are my three prompts for you.

1.Chevron pattern
2.Splaters
3. # 2, 3x4 Pockets

With three of the papers from the kit I have cut strips to then fit them to create a chevron of different colors, then I have sewn the pattern, which I have placed at the top of the layout.

I have not centered the photo, I have left it a little to the left, to place underneath a card with a message.

I have also placed various decorations, a chipboard, a pair of puffy stickers, a star and splashes.

and the other part of the LO, is a page protector # 2, 3x4 Pockets with two kit cards and a puffy sticker.

I hope you like this challenge, I am looking forward to seeing your version.
I wish everyone is well and see you soon!

Pocket Page Challenge with Erica

Hey guys, it's Erica here with a Pocket Page Challenge. One of my favourite ways to document a trip is to create a few spreads as an overview in my Project Life album. It gives you a glimpse into the trip without having to pull out a whole other album, and gives you a chance to highlight some of your favourite photos. Last year I traveled to the Pacific Northwest to attend the Citrus Twist Creative Retreat and built a road trip around it.

This page highlights some of the awesome things we saw and did on that trip. My challenge for you is to document an overview of something- whether it be a trip that you're intimidated to get started on, or one that you've already finished- jumble up all your favourites and create something new!

For this layout I wanted a good balance of photos between people and scenery (and don't forget
wildlife!). A lot of my photos came straight from my Instagram Stories, so they already had a little bit of journaling on them. I simply added a sticker or diecut on top to create a cluster. The embellishments this month were perfect for showcasing all types of travel, especially road trips.

I've used a mixture of the physical journal cards and the digital ones. When I have a lot say in small area I use the digital cards to put my journaling on in Photoshop. That way I can play with the placement and size to get it to fit just right.

And let's not forget about the beautiful travel stamps this month. Adding a bit of stamping to your photos is always a great touch. Pair it with a diecut and you're good to go!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I hope you're inspired to try out this challenge and break out the travel photos!

Pocket Page Challenge with Patricia

Hello CTK Friends!  I have found the May Journeys Life Crafted kit to be perfect for our Stay Home COVID-19 days, normal home/routine days, and for Mother's Day.  You can see my Memory Planner page and Life Crafted spreads I created with this kit on this blog post here.

For today, I have a Pocket Page challenge for you:

1 - Use Florals throughout your spread
2 - Cut up Die cuts
3 - Change size and color of photos

I used the florals in several ways throughout this spread.  I decided to go bold with using the beautiful floral pattern paper from the kit as my background.  Then I used two floral die cuts, one on this 6x8 layout and the other on the 4x6 card on the top right.  The bottom right card, already has amazing florals!

Once I had my background pattern paper, I printed my 4x6 photos in black and white.  Once they were printed, I trimmed them down to spread across the length of my 6x8 page.

With photos in place, I cut the die cut tags from the kit to layer along the photos and add stamping and embellishments.

For the top, right 4x6 card, I used the leftover trimmed die cut tag to add my typed journaling, and then create a cluster with stamping, flower die cut, and embellishments.  My photos is also printed and trimmed the same as the photos on my 6x8 layout.

This card caught my eye right away.  Beautiful as is, so the only thing I added was a print and cut label and a sticker from the kit at the bottom.

This spread is documenting Mother's Day, but these florals have such a beautiful look that they can be used for all genders and occasions!  Hope you decide to incorporate them in your next pocket page, change size and color of photos, and trim die cuts to create clusters throughout your spread!

Pocket Page Challenge with Lisa

Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing a pocket page spread I created with the May Kit in my Life Crafted Album. My challenge is simple: pick your favorite embellishment from the kit, and use multiples (maybe even the whole sheet).

Like many of you, we've been stick inside for weeks and one of my favorite pastimes during the quarantine has been to revisit some of my favorite vacations from the past. I chose this photo documenting Ben's first time at the beach with my mom. The month's kit is perfect for documenting those trips you've never had time to finish.

I started with this gorgeous photo spanning both pages. I knew I wanted to embellish the photo, but I also didn't want to take away from the overall composition. I fell in love with the word phrase stickers and the sentiments were perfect. I also noticed the colors worked really well together. Normally, when I fall on love with an embellishment I tend to hoard them. I decided to go big or go home with this one.
Next, I needed to include my journaling. This was a relatively short story and this filler card just so happened to have the perfect amount of space on the back to include my story of our trip to the beach.

I love how this spread turned out and I think the stickers add so much. Sometimes more is better. Hope you all are able to enjoy some crafty time, and are safe and healthy at home.

Life Crafted using the Hustle & Heart kit by Anna

Hi dear CTK friends! Anna here with you today and I'm so exited to share what I've made using my December Hustle & Heart Life Crafted Kit.

I opted for a super wintery spread made for my Life Crafted Album. A few of the gorgeous PL-cards became my base and I used one of the beautiful Subscriber Exclusive cut files backed with a sheet of acetate ( my own stash) as a divider. I just love how the snowflake cut file looks like a beautiful snowfall.

Ok, let's have a look of what I came up with.

I incorporated a intractive element using a piece of acetate (my own stash) decorated with one of the snowflake die cuts. It covers my journaling a tiny bit and makes some interest to my spread. A fun detail I think.

And there you have it, my tribute for the winter, YAY! Now it's your turn to play with you lovely stuff and don't forget to share with us on CTK Fan Page and /or Instagram @citrustwistkits #citrustwistkits. We can't wait to see what magic you'll create.

Life Crafted with Anna

Hi dear friends! Anna here to share another spread in my  Life Crafted album using the May "Excursions" Life Crafted kit. This album is filling up fast, but luckily there are a couple more to find in the CTK shop so I'll be able to extend my album stash.

I like to pick up a few colors from my photo or if it's a B&W photo I also love to stick around using a few main colors to work with. As is with this spread, I picked up the blue and yellow shades from my pic.

Here I've used one of the PL-cards as a label layerd under my photo to write date and location on.

A few stitches and staples to give my pages some texture. Also I've been stamping the word "Local" using the May Life Crafted Travelers Notebook stamps from the shop.

And there you have it! Now it's your turn to dig into your kits and play around. Be sure to share with us on Instagram #citrustwistkits and CTK Fan Page on Facebook so we can give you all some love. Can't wait to see your lovely creations.

Thanks for stopping by! Anna xo
