Life Crafted with Alena

It's Alena here, and today I want to share with you a new Life Crafted project I made using the beautiful  January "Fierce and Fabulous" kit and This Life "Fierce" stamp.

For the basis, I took a white cardstock. Then I added strips of patterned paper, on which I placed photos and embellishments.

When I saw this patterned paper with leaves, I immediately knew that I would cut them out.  Their color perfectly matches my photos. I also added pink and orange elements.

I wanted to add some black accents and used  January This Life "Fierce" stamp for that.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please share what you create with your kits in our Facebook group and/or on Instagram tagging @citrustwistkits so we can see!

Life Crafted Pocket Pages with Laura

Hello everyone! How are you doing? I'm Laura and today I want to show you this cute Pocket Life page I created with the beautiful Life Crafted "Fierce and Fabulous" kit and the scrapbook add-on kit. It's been just so easy and fast to create!

On the first place, I choose the base cards. I love all the beautiful sentiments  written in the cards, it's a perfect way to tell your stories without much efford, the cards were matching together so fast!

Then, I added all the embellishments. The cute ephemera from the collection She's magic from Dear Lizzy match really well with all the decorations from the Life Crafted kit!

Then I created some titles and sentiments. These pink foam alpha stickers are so gorgeous, any title will look amazing with them! Combined with the tiny letters from de scrapbook add-on kit you can get a wide variety of titles!

Finally, I added my stories with the perfect journaling cards, you always have a big variety in every kit! I like to use my own hadwritting, I believe that it looks more fun and authentic (and it's easier, too!).

And that's all for today! I hope you liked it and got inspired, I really had so much fun creating it! And don't forget to check the shop for more cute supplies! Have a nice day!

"The Luckiest" with Kira

Hey there!  It's Kira and I am back with another layout in my Life Crafted album.  I am still working in my Folsom album, dedicated to my recently departed dog.  Here's a look at the layout I created using mostly the January add-on kit:

I started this layout with a letter to Folsom.  I decided on the format of letter driven journaling, which is working out really well for this album.  This letter is mostly about our first meeting, the day I picked Folsom out and took him home.

I typed it up on my computer, printed it out, cut it down to size and had about 1.5" at the bottom for a tiny bit of embellishing.  I used a couple of die cut flowers and a tiny word sticker.

I used some of the rectangle die cuts, which I honestly never know how to use on my pages, as little flips for this layout.  The first one says never forget this with some journaling lines.  I stamped the date I got Folsom on here.

The next flip I stuck a baby photo of Folsom and embellished it with a puffy sticker, tiny word sticker and a die cut heart.

On the right side of the layout, I fussy cut Folsom and adhered him to the specialty paper included in the kit.  I attached a die cut flower and the puffy sticker "you belong here" included in the LC kit.

I struggled with a title, but when I saw the "Lucky Us" paper from Pink Paislee, I loved the "I  am the Luckiest" quote.  I had written "How lucky we were!" in my journaling, so it seemed perfect for this page.  I cut it out, backed it with a die cut piece and adhered it to the page with foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pocket Page Challenge with Diane

Hi guys! Diane here with another Pocket Page Challenge for you!

When it comes to my Project Life albums, my motto is always "done is better than perfect". So I always aim to keep things as simple as I possibly can.

So my challenge to you today is: Keep things simple and add a pop of colour!

The biggest trick I have for keeping things simple is to batch my tasks. So when I sit down to print my photos, I ALWAYS try to do 3 or 4 weeks worth of photos in one sitting. That way, when I have a bit of time, I can spend it getting creative, not printing photos!

For this spread, I kept things very simple by choosing cards that fit the photos I already had printed and adapting them as I needed (like trimming a banner shape and tucking my photo underneath).

I also choose to use a list style of journaling for this week. It's a technique that always makes things a bit quicker for me.

I choose to add a consistent pop of yellow across my spread. It helps to tie everything together and create a cohesive page. I choose yellow because of the yellow on the journalling card I used. Then I added a fabric circle...

... and a couple of yellow puffy stickers to two of my cards.

I also added a yellow label to my title card to keep it all tied together.

Here's a look at the process this spread took ...

I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge so don't forget to post your layouts in the Facebook Fan Page so we can see!

Messy Stamping TN - January Life Crafted Kit

Hello!  Lorilei here today sharing two spreads in my Life Crafted Album using the January 2020 Life Crafted Kit and stamps!

I started this spread by doing a lot of messy stamping down the left side of the spread and an area on the right side.  I used the little heart from the Traveler's Notebook stamp and various colors of ink to match my photo!

I embellished with some florals from the January 2020 Scrapbooking Add-On and used both the alphas included along with my Spencer stamps for a big fun title!

My next spread uses the same little heart for stamping and I mixed in the Fierce stamp set as well!

I mixed in some fussy cut florals from the January Scrapbooking Add-On as well, they go so well with the Life Crafted die cuts!

I love the Citrus Twist Stamp sets!  They are a favorite part of the kit for me!

Thanks so much for joining me today!

Sunday Sketch with Sheree

Hi everyone!

It’s Sheree here with you today to share a new Sunday Sketch Challenge!  It’s just the thing to get your Sunday off to a creative start don’t you think?  This is the sketch we’re working with today…

Here’s what I came up with…

I decided on a white cardstock background then chose some of the papers from the JanuaryScrapbooking Add-on Kit and the text paper from the “Fierce & Fabulous”Life Crafted Kit to layer together behind the photo.  I also added a piece of vellum from my stash and added machine stitching. The photo was then layered on top.

I typed up my journaling onto some plain white cardstock using my typewriter and tucked it under the side of the photo, then added some of the Add-on Kit floral die cuts and a ticket too.

For the title in the top left of the page, I combined the Life Crafted Kit fabric sticker and pink foam alphabet stickers with the Add-on Kit word stickers and die cut flower and the This Is Life “Fierce” Stamp Set to create a cluster.  I also added some machine stitching for additional texture.

I stayed with my clean, simple style leaving out the scattered embellishments that are diagonally across the sketch as I felt the cluster in the top left corner was enough for this layout.

You can watch my process in the video below...

Now it’s your turn to play!  I hope you’re inspired to jump right in and create with this new sketch!

I’ll see you again soon with a fresh, new project.  Enjoy your day!
