Hey, CTK friends! It's Marsha here today, and I'm sharing a layout for Sunday Sketch. The sketch I'm working with today is so fun- one of my favorites ever!
Here's a look at the sketch:
This sketch is in an 8.5x11 format, but it was easy to convert it to a Life Crafted spread by separating the design down the center of the page and rotating it ninety degrees.

This month's Gratitude and Change is Beautiful digitals were perfect for this spread, documenting a photo from Thanksgiving last year. I began by printing a few digital patterned papers from the kit. I followed the sketch by trimming the papers into a layered arrow design. Next, I added machine stitching to each paper and adhered them to the page. I also printed some digital ephemera and enlarged leaves from one of the patterned papers to use as embellishments.
I followed the design by adding my title on the other page of the layout. I stamped the word "together" using the Ginger Upper Alphabet stamp and a trimmed floral piece from one of the digital cards. The edge of the page looked bare, so I added another trimmed piece of the green patterned paper I used on the opposite page. This helped to make the spread more cohesive. Then, I printed my journaling on clear matte label sticker paper, added it to the page, and stamped the date with a roller date stamp from my stash. To complete the spread, I added enamel dots to a few areas and a yellow puffy heart sticker.

The sketch is in an 8.5x11 format, but it was easy to convert it to a Life Crafted album spread by separating the design down the middle of the page.
Here's a look at my layout:
The Crafting Memories digitals and Handcrafted die cut ephemera were perfect for this layout, documenting a photo of me in my craft room. I began by printing two digital papers to serve as a base for the page. Next, I followed the sketch and did a bit of layering behind my photo with another digital patterned paper and a few ephemera pieces.
I used a phrase from the Handcrafted die cut ephemera for the title and created a cluster with a floral piece and some of the fun crafty die-cut elements. To complete the page, I stamped a few phrases using the Slow Days stamp and black ink.
For the other side of the layout, I created a bookshelf by trimming a piece of woodgrain digital patterned paper and adding the mini Life Crafted Albums die cut from the National Scrapbook Day digital elements to the shelf. I love how this turned out! It also mimics the row of colorful albums in my photo. I did more stamping above the shelf with the Slow Days stamp. Then, I added hand-drawn lines and an enamel dot to make it look like a wall hanging. To complete the page, I added a butterfly from the Crafting Memories digital ephemera.

For my project, I created a Spring layout in my Flamingo Life Crafted album. I traced a large half circle onto a patterned paper from the Gingham Gardens 6x8 Paper Pad, trimmed it out, and adhered it along the edge of the page. Next, I added my photo and embellished the layout with the Spring Dreams digitals, along with ephemera and stickers from the Gingham Gardens collection. I used foam tape to adhere some of the elements for extra dimension. To complete the page, I stamped my title with the Ginger Lower Alpha stamp and sage ink, following the curve of the patterned paper.
For the other side of the spread, I chose more ephemera elements from the Spring Dreams digitals and the Gingham Gardens collection and arranged them in a half circle. The layout seemed flat, so I decided to use the Bows cut file and a digital patterned paper to create a bow for the page. I love the interest and dimension it added to the layout.
I also included a detail photo taken the same day on my walk. To complete the spread, I added some stamping with the Cherish stamp and stickers from the Gingham Gardens Puffy Stickers.

Hey, CTK friends! It's Marsha here today, and I'm excited to share my first post as part of the CTK Design Team for this year! For the 3-to-Inspire challenge, I used the new Slow Days Mini-Kit to create a layout in my Flamingo Life Crafted album.
Here are this week's prompts:
1. Use more than one photo 2. Include circlular elements 3. Add stamping
For my layout today, I started with a white cardstock background, trimmed to fit the album. This allowed my photos and the beautiful collection designs to stand out on the spread. Next, I printed a traveler's notebook digital paper and a digital journaling card and used them as layers behind my first photo. I embellished around the photo with ephemera and a phrase sticker from the kit.
For the other side of the layout, I printed my second photo in a circular shape using Photoshop and trimmed it with a metal die from my stash. The "Small Joys" die cut from the kit ephemera was perfect for my title. I added dimensional adhesive to the title piece and created an embellishment cluster around the small photo with floral die cuts. I also included some stamping with the Slow Days Stamp and black ink. Then, I printed my journaling on white cardstock, trimmed it out, and adhered it to a digital journal card- the card is the same design as the one on the left page, just printed at a smaller size.
I wanted to create a diagonal line of circles spanning across both pages, so I added more stamping using the Slow Days stamp. I also added stamped hearts and an ephemera heart to the center of the stamped images.
I love how my spread turned out using the products from this month's release!

It's Friday ohhh yesss! Friday means weekend and so I hope for me time, craft time and quality time with family and friends. I love this period of the year, the first cold, the evening at home, watching a Christmas movie... already.. yes already to me ;) a blanket and soft lights in the background!
I love the evening, that time of the day when the silence comes in the home and I can close my eyes and have a deep breathe and think about how much I am thankful and lucky to live the life I live.
So the pages you will see are all about the everyday blessing and adventures. Those little moments that In love so much!
So let me show you my pages for today's blog post ;) I am in love with the autumn stories and colors.
My first idea was a dream catcher but when I don't have what I want to do something like I want I go ahead and see where the creative flow takes me. So in the end I created a sort of branch full of stitched leaves and gems, the puffy stickers were a perfect way to fill my branch.
I love love love so much those little details to tell my everyday stories! To complete my pages I have used a digital journal 3x4 card where I wrote down the story to remember.
You find all these beauties in the shop together the gorgeous Stamps that I use in my pages always! They are the final touch :)

Hello. Ettiene here with this weeks three to inspire. For this project I am using the Flea Market Findings 2.
Here are my three prompts to inspire you this week:
1. Use a B&W photo
2. Use some fibers
3. Use a stamp set from your stash
Here is my project using those prompts. I am documenting a photo of my daughter eating an ice pop on the lake.
For the first card in this layout I used some of the ephemera from the kit with a tag. I placed the blue fibers through the loop of the tag. The cream fibers under the tag have sticky backing making them perfect for sticking to the card.
For the journaling card I used a stamp from my stash to stamp Sunshine & Water. Its no longer available in the shop but there is a ton of other choices you could use for this.
I was inspired by the sentiment on the card that reads "She beats to the beauty her wildflower heart and seashore soul." I immediately thought of my daughters wild hair in front of the lake. I changed the picture to B&W because my daughter was dressed in all the colors of the rainbow. I think it helped to focus on her windblown hair. I added some of the pom pom trim to the side.

It's Shu-Wen here, sharing a spread in my Life Crafted Album that I made using today's sketch! This one is documenting celebrating Mother's Day and my sister's birthday last week (we decided to celebrate a bit early because I wasn't going to be in town this weekend).
Here's the sketch that I used to create my layout:
I decided to adapt the sketch into the left page of my layout, with only one major difference: I decided to make the bottom left photo a landscape-oriented one instead of a portrait-oriented one because most of the photos I took that day were landscape-oriented.
One other difference between the sketch and my layout was that I made my photo mats into interactive flips and flaps to hold more photos (11 in total!). I love the challenge of turning a flat sketch into a functioning interactive page to include lots of hidden surprises like these additional photos!
For the right page in my layout, I used the ledger patterned paper in the digital patterned papers and added some journaling using Microsoft Word to the top ledger portion before printing it out. I kept the page relatively simple by only adding one chipboard sticker to the empty blue ticket along the bottom of the page; I felt that the left page was busy enough as is with the floral background paper and all the photos flaps, so I didn't want the right page to be too cluttered!
During Ettiene's Facebook Live on the Citrus Twist Kits Facebook Group yesterday for International Scrapbook Day, we were talking about how much we love using sketches because they challenge us to use techniques outside our comfort zone, or remind us of techniques or materials that we haven't used for a while. I love today's sketch for that same reason: I was able to pull out some scraps of vellum that I've had lying around for a while to add an interesting texture to my page!

Hello! Welcome to another Life Crafted Inspiration. Have you seen the new 6x8 Life Crafted albums?! I'm combining our new 6x8 pocket with the new 2-4x4 pockets. I will be using both the new April Travelogue Kit and the digitals. First, I'll focus on the 6x8 layout on the left.
I used the new Destination Cut Files and selected the 'chillax' with the stars. I moved the stars so that I could cut directly onto my large photo. I chose a paper with a neutral background from the April Travelogue Kit to back my photo. Then I pierced and added handstitching. I replaced and adhered the 'chillax' letters from the cut file from my photo and stitched those into place as well. In deciding what color threads to use, I started with pulling the blue from the photo, then added complimentary colors.
I used the ephemera from the April Travelogue Kit to add at the bottom of my large photo, and continued the star theme by adding chipboard stars for another dimension by the cut file.
For the right side 4x6 pockets, I altered one of the Life Crafted Travelogue Digital Cards using Photoshop Elements to remove just the center image and changing the color to a lighter blue, printed, detailed cut, and layered that over the same pattern paper from the Travelogue Kit used on the left side under my photo.
For the bottom top 4x4 pocket, I lightened one of the CTK APR Travel TN PAPER so my journaling would stand out from the background. Added a stamped sentiment from the new 6x8 Travelogue V2 stamp and a puffy embellishment from the Travelogue kit to finish.
