SUNDAY SKETCH With Nathalie
Hello everyone!
Nathalie with you today to share a bit of inspiration featuring this week's sketch and a mix of the latest releases. We always love sketches around here, as they are a great starting point for your projects, especially when you have little time. Let's take a look at this week's sketch
I love the large title and negative space in this spread. So, it gave me the perfect idea to create a 6x8 Life Crafted layout with a bit of an interactive twist.
I used a bit of each of the new collections for this spread, as I wanted a colorful title. But, let's take a closer look at the page.
I love the large title, but needed the extra space to fit it horizontally on my page. So, I flipped it 90 degrees so the title sits vertically on my page. Using an alpha die from We R Makers, I cut patterned papers from Oh What Fun kit, Year in Review Digital kit. Once I set them in place, then it was time to add my photo,
I decided to move my photo to the bottom of the page, as it fit the title work better. However, I am "overlapping it over some of the alphas" as in the sketch. I tried to keep the embellishments location closer to the ones shown in the sketch. However here is where the fun on this page takes place!

SUNDAY SKETCH with Nathalie
Hello there!
Nathalie with you today to share this week's Sketch challenge. We love sketches around here, as they make it a breeze to create projects -think of them as your layout's blueprint!- This week's sketch is a fun one, and it can easily be used in many formats. Let's take a look at the sketch.
And here is what I have created for my 6x8 Life Crafted album using the new CHANGE IS BEAUTIFUL digital collection.
I love Fall, and the new October Release was just perfect for this spread. All the rich colors, and patterns just mixed seamlessly.
I decided to use the sketch to add my pictures to the spread. I changed the 2 picture design to a 3 picture design by simply replacing the journaling spot with a picture.
I followed the paper strip design of the sketch for the layers in my spread. I cut a few of the strips from the new CHANGE IS BEAUTIFUL digital kit, and also from the new Farmstead Harvest 6x8 paper pad -available in the shop-. I focused on warm tones for the paper layers, so that I can contrast them with the journal cards and embellishments.
I made a few changes to the original sketch in my page. I decided to bring pops of blue in the embellishments, and also change the design of them -from word strips to round labels-.
To bring more of the blue tone to this side of the spread, I decided to use the Sadie Alpha stamps and Distress Oxide ( Blue Mariner) to create my title. Then added an extra stamped sentiment -Gratitude 6x8 Stamp set- to the bottom of the page.
My choice was to move the journaling out of the page to a journal card inside a pocket. For this, I am using the new CHANGE IS BEAUTIFUL digital journaling cards to create my story card, and the filler card - I fussy cut the wreath and covered the sentiment of the blue card with it-. A few enamel dots to tie the colors on both sides of the spread together,
I hope this inspires you to take a chance with this week's sketch and all the new products available in the CTK shop!

3-to- INSPIRE with Marci
Hello Friends! It is Marci with you today. We are going to have fun with our challenge this Saturday.
Here are the three suggested items to incorporate into your project,
1. Use a pocket page.
2. Use a stamp set.
3. Document a topic that says a lot about you.
For my project, I used the ALL ABOUT ME kit to document my routine of making an espresso drink every morning. Drinking coffee is something I am known for with my friends and family. My scrapbook pages about myself would not be complete without including this topic.
I had fun layering several of the embellishment pieces from the kit on the full-page layout and the pocket cards. Pocket Cards and pocket pages are a great way to incorporate different colors and styles into your layout. Sliding cards into the pockets can take a lot of the guesswork out of designing a spread.
Including stamping in two different ink colors, adds some visual interest to my embellishment clusters. The small circle and asterisk on the Storytelling v2 all-about-me stamp set were perfect for this.
If you like this CAFFEINE card as much as I do, check out this set of everyday moments double-sided journaling cards. It is great to have extra journaling cards in our stash that can mix and match with any kit.
I had so much fun putting this layout together. I hope you are inspired to give the challenge a try too.

3-to-INSPIRE with Nathalie
Hello there!
Nathalie with you today with this week's 3-to-Inspire challenge. And this week's prompts are sure to get you ready to create your own projects. Here are this week's prompts:
- Use Multiple Photos
- Add some circles
- Get creative with your title
I created a film strip using three pictures from one of my live sessions ( and coffee is always a must!). I wanted them to remain attached so that I could easily attach them to the title in a clean way.
I added a few enamel dots to continue the circle look of the page, and done! I love how this turned out! This layout came together in a flash, and I love the simplicity of the page. Remember to check the new ROUTINES Digital Collection, you are going to love all that you can create with it!1

SUNDAY SKETCH with Nathalie
Hi there!
Nathalie with you today with this week's sketch challenge. We love a good sketch around here, as it just helps to put a layout together in a short amount of time. Let's take a look at this week's sketch:
And here is what I have created using the new Life In Motion kit for my 6x8 Life Crafted album
As you can see I am using the sketch to create a part of my spread, then extended the look of it into a pocket spread.
I stayed true to the sketch ( with just a few little modifications) for the right side of the spread. I started with a 6x8.5in base, then used one of the new Life In Motion 3x4 Journal card to create the large vertical paper strip. All the colors in the card made it easy to bring the rest of the papers for the spread. I pulled one of the Travelogue'23 patterned papers as it matched the smaller photos of the day's story. This was used as a layer behind the photo and along the vertical paper strip.
I pulled more papers from Life in Motion to build the rest of the layout. Then embellished the photos with pieces from the Life In Motion Element cut-apart paper. The sketch calls for a large title, since I have lots of color in the page, I am opting for Sadie Black Puffy Alphas to complete this side of the spread.
I elongated the design featured in the sketch by pulling a piece of the horizontal paper strip (Life In Motion Patterned Papers) to create the small instax card that sits on the same level.
I decided to also create a second instax size card that mirrors the large vertical paper strip -on the right-. The sketch features round embellishments, I borrowed this idea to tie the two sides of the spread. The circles from the Life In Motion cut apart elements easily brought two spreads together.
I hope this week's sketch inspires you to get creative! I cannot wait to see what you create, remember to share with us what you have created, too!
