This week we picked Tina Feng's layout for a View from Our Gallery. Tina is a regular Gallery contributor and this scrapbook page caught our eye.
Tina used the June "Beautiful Life" Main kit for her layout and pulled some items from her stash and past kits. The result is a delightful mix of paper, photos and embellishments. We love how she used the kraft bag from her kit as a backdrop for her photo collage.
Thanks Tina!

Simple Strategies with Tanya
Hello and happy Monday! It´s Tanya here today to show you a simple strategy post using gorgeous June Seriously Happy Add-On Kit. Well, I have a simple strategy tip which always works for me - making you own pattern background.
I decided to use white textured cardstock from the kit as a background
and add cut triangles to make a pattern.
After gluing all triangles I added some yellow and green watercolour to make it look more bright and fresh.
I used the same strategy to make my card - triangles plus watercolour.
I made four marks with a pencil in a place where I'm going to glue the frame before apply the watercolour.
Thanks for stopping by today! This is my last post for Citrus Twist and I want to thank you all, this was a great time :)

Sunday Sketch with our Guest Designer
It’s Mary Ann here with my take on the sketch challenge.
When I first saw the sketch, my eye went right to the great sunburst
pattern!
It reminded me of the “Our
Travels” paper in the kit that has a similar pattern, so that became my
starting point. To make the starburst rays, I cut sections from the paper, then
backed it with various patterned papers from the kit.
I added my die cut title in the same place as on the sketch,
and then added all the cute star custom wood chips, the pretty blue washi tape,
sequins, a few splatters of paint from my stash and the custom flair badge.

Saturday Inspiration
Hi, this is Nathalie with a baby card for a change! When I saw the Dream Come True paper from Allison Kreft in the main kit, I knew I was going to use that adorable hot air balloon design for a card! The rest was simply designed around it! (alpha stickers from my stash)

Tuesday Tutorial with our Guest Designer
It’s Mary Ann here with a layout to share and a fun tip for
using the custom stamps in this month’s June Main kit!
To start, I added a few scraps of paper behind my photo, adhered
it to my cardstock base, and then I added some of the custom wood chip stars
and a few sequins.
Next are the Thicker
letters and a die cut for the title, and a few more star wood chips and sequins
on the other side of the layout.
Confetti and sequins etc. are so popular in paper crafting
right now, and I love the look! It’s a nice way to add a bit of color and
texture to a layout. Here’s where the custom stamps come in!
I used the dot circle stamps along with a black ink pad to
add in with the sequins and star wood chips. It was a perfect way to add more
of the confetti look!
To finish off my layout, I added the American Crafts
newsprint tag along with the bakers twine that is tied so lovingly around each
kit.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope this has inspired you!

Memories packed mini album with Kasia
Hello and happy Monday! Kasia here today with a cute mini album made with fresh and shiny June kits! For my mini I combined the main June kit and the embellishment add on- no surprise that they work great together! What is my mini about? Well it collects memories from a little weekend trip we had with my boyfriend at the beginning of May and I hope it'll inspire you to document your summer trips too!
The album is really chunky and memories packed! We had a great trip which combined some sightseeing and a run event and I wanted to include both of these adventures in my mini. Get ready for some photos! :)
I still have to add some journaling to the pages of my book (you see the 2 pages with washi tape and "K" and "F" letters- the journaling will go there) and one missing photograph but other than that the book is finished.
For today's Simple Strategies part I thought I could share with you my favorite idea to include the real life memorabilias into to the album. When we go somewhere we always collect lots of brochures, tickets and other souvenirs which I rather include in my projects than let them hang around our home. This time I simply cropped the extra stuff to the size of the album and treated the brochures like patterned paper. It's great way to add more interesting details to your mini album, layout or PL spread and also makes your projects super unique! Here are the examples from my mini book:
It's always fun to look through memories captured in the mini albums so I hope you will find some time to create your owns this summer! Have a great week!

Pocket life with jen chapin
Hello and happy Friday! Today I am sharing a Pocket Life layout with you using the June kits. These kits were so fabulous for documenting our Memorial Day celebration.
For this spread, I used a sheet from the patterned paper add on as well as one of the PL cards from the PL kit. I embellished with chipboard, wood veneer and enamel dots and hearts.
I am loving the flair this month in the pocket life kit!
For this side of the spread I printed a photo out in 3"x4" sections to create a panoramic type view in the middle of the page.
Shh, I used a polka dot PL card from the April kits, I've been hoarding it! :)
I really love these chipboard sunglasses from the embellishment add on! The sequins from the main kit were also a perfect addition :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've already grabbed your June kits! Don't miss out, they are really awesome for scrapping those summer memories this year!
