Happy Saturday everyone!
Nathalie and Anna here with another lovely 3 to inspire for you. Just play along with the three prompts for a chance to win.
Here are your prompts! (Hope you will like them)
1. Use a cut file ( or a die cut from e.g Big Shot/ Cuttlebug if you don't have an electronic cutting machine)
2. Use stitching (machine, hand or false, it is all up to you!)
3. Use color mist/ink
Both Nathalie and I have used this month"s absolutely gorgeous digital cut file, designed by Nathalie herself!
I'm totally blown away, it's so beautiful.
Here's my take on the prompts.
I have used the die cut leaves and the word "grateful" here. I formed my leaf garlands to a pretty untidy wreath or circle and made a few stitches over them to fasten them and just because I love stitches, lol!
My background cardstock I did prepare before with some different shades of color mist.
I actually love the white on white and the delicate feeling combined with the bold blue on this page.
And of course, the cut file by Nathalie, is the star of the whole layout.
It's absolutely fantastic, thank you Nathalie for sharing it with us <3
Just love how Anna used the cut file to create her stunning layout!!!
Now i want to show you a different take on this week's prompts ( can I say that when Anna shared her 3 to Inspire, I did a pirouette! These are some of my favorite things, too!).
I chose to off set the cut file so that the leaf branches are placed on a diagonal, and chose to work with the negative part of the cut out.
I backed all the negative cuts with the beautiful CTK exclusive paper, and then machine stitched it to one of the Carousel collection papers included in the kit. Picking the color of the mat, I chose to hand stitched the edges of the cut out, and then used foam adhesive to pop up the leaves. Love the dimension of the leaves on the layout.
And finally a large title from the large die cut chipboard words from the add on kit, a few drops of shimmer mist was all it needed to add a subtle note to the page. I love how this page came out (even when our picture is not the best, but that is us!!!), and i hope you are inspired to use the cut file in your projects. Remember you can pick a copy of the cut file in the CTK Fans Facebook Page.
See you all soon!!
Well, that's all for today. I really hope you like our layouts and the prompts and give it a go! We can't wait to see your creations. Please share them with us here in the Gallery and /or our Facebook Forum.
Thanks, Nathalie & Anna xo
