Pocket Life with Candace

Hello CTK friends!  Candace here to share my week 42 pocket life spread using the beautiful January pocket life kit.  So what do you do when you just have a few photos for your week?  Just use them!  I normally do a full 12x12 double page layout for every week. However, there are always a few weeks during the year that for one reason or another I don't have enough photos for a double page spread.  I don't let this worry or bother me and I just document what I have!  It is always better to capture some memories than none.

Here is a look at my half page spread for week 42!

I loved using the label sticker from the ephemera pack to stamp the weeks date and the cork heart is the perfect fit between the week numbers!

The journal card with all the ampersands was the perfect place to make a list of some of my favorite things to do as a family.

My favorite card in the spread is the cute pink card with the multi colored dots.  LOVE IT!  I used this card for a fun focal point along the center of the spread. Using puffy stickers from a past kit I wrote out "Taco Tuesday" then added a die cut on dimensional adhesive across the center.  So cute!

I loved the look of the Taco Tuesday card so much that I decided to create another card using puffy letter stickers as a main focus.  On the lower 4x6 card I wrote out "Together" since this spread was all about going out and doing fun things together.

I love the fun colors in the spread.  My photos were pretty dark this week so pairing them with colorful, bright cards helps balance the spread.
I am glad that I documented this fun memory.  Even though this is a short week and only half of a normal spread the memory and moments are important and captured.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Make sure you stop by the shop and pick up this month's kit before it sells out!
Have a beautiful day!
Candace
