Tuesday Tutorial | November 3, 2015

Good Morning! This is Melissa here with you this Tuesday morning :-)

I'm showing you a quick, easy way to make a couple of embellished tags that you could use on different projects! They could be included on a scrapbook layout, a card, or a pocket page! I'm planning on using both of these in my pocket pages for this month!

Gather your supplies:
-Watercolors
-White shipping tags
-Water brush
-Stamps
-Black Staz-on Ink
-Embellishments from the November Pocket Page kits

First, I cut my tags down to fit into a 3x4 pocket. I stitched around the outer edge of the tag with my sewing machine.  Then, I simply used three different complimentary watercolors on my tag and blended together.

I then decided which stamp set I wanted to use and stamped onto the watercolored tag with Black Staz-on ink.

For my next tag, I again started by cutting the tag down to fit into a 3x4 pocket and stitching around the outside edge with my sewing machine. I also chose some corresponding blues/teals in watercolors and blended them on the tag. I decided to layer the gold alphabet stickers on top of the watercolors.

I covered the entire front of the tag with the stickers and then layered the Amy Tangerine puffy sticker on top. Super easy and simple!

These will make quick and easy additions to my pocket pages!

Tuesday tutorial with Alena

Hi everyone!  Alena here today!
Today I would like to share with you my step-by-step layout tutorial , which is part of the my spread Project Life. I used October 2015 Pocket Life Kit and Sprinkles on October 2015 Kit .
To begin, I have prepared a photo, embellishment, paper.....

I cut triangles out of paper. For each triangle added a layer of tracing paper.

All this was glued in the shape of a triangle.

Added embellishments with Sprinkles on October 2015 Kit .

It is time to use the stamp

I like the result!
Hope you are inspired to dig out your CTK kits and start to create today! Thanks for letting me share with you.
Happy Crafting!

Pocket Pages with Melissa

Good Morning and happy Thursday!

It's Melissa here on the blog with you today and I'm sharing some of my pocket pages made with the October Pocket Life Kit.

I really loved all the fun embellishments included in this month's kit. Plus, I got to work with the "Sprinkles" kit. I loved the chipboard embellishments that were included in that kit! I'm still working my way through July (I'm just a little behind!) and I love how the kits are easily used for anytime of the year you are currently working on.

Make sure you share your Pocket Pages with us! We would love to see them :-) You can share on our FACEBOOK page or in the GALLERY on the website!

A traditionnal page with the PL kit

Hi everyone!

Yes, I'm a Project Life-er. But yes, I also want to make traditional pages because I love them! I think they are beautiful and I think they make one particular story SHINE (as when the story is in my PL album, it tends to get swallowed by all the other stories around it).

So when I get my PL kit, I often take out whatever product I like best and I save them for one traditional page, my treat! :)

This month, using only the Main PL kit, I made this:

Pocket Life Sketch Friday

Hi everyone, Diane here and it's time for Pocket Life Sketch Friday again! Don't forget that we have a giveaway associated with the sketches I'll give you at the end of this post.

The kits this month are AMAZING, I created four Pocket Life spreads, two layouts and I still haven't killed that baby yet! Here's one of my favourites this month, I created my own page protector using my Fuse Tool and a Design A style protector.

Here is the process video of how this layout came together...

And here are a few close-ups...

And now for your Pocket Life sketches...

Thanks for visiting Pocket Life Friday, where every week we share PL sketches and a chance to win. For your chance to win, create a layout based on the sketches in this blog post, post your layout to our Gallery or our Facebook Fan Page by Friday, October 23rd. PL Sketch Friday with Karen

Hi everyone

Karen here with PL Sketch, every month with the Pocket Life Kit and the Sprinkles or Embellishment kit, I create at least one layout maybe even stretching it to two layouts with a 6x8 full scrapbook page. I love Scrapbooking as well as Pocket Life and can now confidently call myself a scrapbooker.

Below is my layout that I'm sharing with you today.

I used a piece of grey cardstock I had #inmystudio and everything else you see on my pages are from the October Pocket Page Kit or Embellishment Kit.

Here are you sketches.

Can't wait to see what you create. Have fun.

Here is what I created!

Now it's your turn! Use the three prompts to create your own projects and share them with us here in the galleryand/or our Facebook Forum. You can also upload to Instagram, but remember to tag us @citrustwistkits.
