Happy Friday and good morning!

This is Melissa here with you this morning and I'm sharing some pages from my Project Life album using the September Pocket Life kit!

I loved all the goodies that came along in this month's kit! I really like the embellishment kit that had the sequins and paperclips!

Below is the sketch I made based off the spread shared above.
Make sure you share your pocket pages with us! We would love to see how you are using the kits :-)

Let's Get Digital | August 15, 2016

Good Morning, friends!

This is Melissa here with you this fine Monday morning and I'm sharing what I made using the Citrus Twist Digital file from August kits.

I really loved the phrase "A Great Big Love"! I cut it out on white card stock and ended up using the negative of the phrase instead of the words that were cut out. I cut out phrase in a 4x6 block and adhered it to a piece of pattern paper and used that as one of my cards in my album. I jazzed it up a bit by smearing some orange watercolor on the edges. I also used the silhouette of the hearts all stacked up and stitched that down on another 4x6 piece of pattern paper and then used my typewriter to the right of it and typed out my journaling.

How have you been using your kit this month? Make sure to share with us!

Pocket Pages with Melissa Mann

Good Morning and Happy Fourth of July to our American friends!

This is Melissa here with you this morning and I'm sharing a couple of my pocket pages that I have made so far with the fantastic July "Driftwood" Kit!

There were so many pieces to this kit this month that I just loved! I loved the cut-apart sheets! There was an entire sheet of just labels! I love to stick the whole sheet of labels in my typewriter and type all my journaling out for the various pictures in my spreads. It makes it SUPER easy! I also loved the die-cut pieces that were included :-) And last but not least, I really liked the exclusive epoxy stickers! The smiley faces were my favorite!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Make sure you share your projects with us in our GALLERY or on our FACEBOOK page!

Friday Sketch with Melissa

Good Morning!  Another fabulous Pocket Life kit this month, "Capri"! I loved the color scheme this month and the exclusive puffy stickers :-)

Here's what I created so far:

Here are the sketches:

I rarely ever use page protectors that incorporate the 4x6 vertically. I challenged myself to use them for this spread. I also incorporated a large photo here as well.

Make sure to share what you are doing with your Pocket Life kits!! We want to see them :-) Thanks for stopping by the blog this morning! Happy Friday :-)

3-to-Inspire with Melissa Mann

Happy Saturday morning, friends!

This is Melissa here with you today and I'm bringing the Saturday "3 to Inspire" challenge for the weekend!

My challenge for you today is to use the following three products in your project:
1. Patterned Paper
2. Twine or Floss
3. Watercolors

I created two cards for my Pocket Life Album that I will incorporate into my spreads this month. The first card was created by cutting a 6x6 piece of pattern paper to 3x4. I cut out a star shape and then used that as a diagram to punch the holes into my cardstock. I then used the twine that Trina used to wrap my product up with this month and filled in the holes with some back-stitching. I stitched around the outside edge of the paper and then used some light water-coloring on the card.

For my second card, I cut down one of the 6x6 pattern papers to 4x6 and stitched around the edge with some purple thread. I deliberately chose a pattern paper that already had a watercolor look to it! I placed my picture on the paper and adhered it down and placed one rubber embellishment strip across the bottom!

Make sure you show us what you created! You can share with us on our Facebook page or in our Gallery!
