Kit Love

Hello! I's Mira Jurecka here and I have a Kit Love post for You today, which is all about December  "Sonoma" PL Kit.
First I'll show You the kit in details, and at the end You will see what I made with it!

Cards.
Although this is "December" kit, it is not about Christmas. You can simply document Your everyday life not depending on where You are in the calendar right now. Obviously the kit can support creating Your December album if You wish so!
The cards are bright, with a lot of space for journaling:

Papers.
These are exclusive Citrus Twist Kits 6x8 colorful papers that were included in the kit this month:

I especially love that flower pattern - I used it to create a few PL cards.

In the package You will also find two sets of exclusive puffy stickers - blue alpha-stickers and colorful words and shapes - perfect for project decorating!

I am impressed by these stickers, because they are really funny and help documenting not only happy moments but also some difficulties of life - like the one with thundercloud - isn't it great?

As always - in the pack You will also find great exclusive CTK stamps - these are perfect for documenting december moments, as they are about celebrating, home, the end of the year and the beginning of new year. Awesome.
And there is set of cork elements with words:

Another exclusive product that You will find in the kit is the set of paper die-cuts - awesome colors, both bright and pale, fun words, tags, labels and shapes. Look at this set of yellow emotikons - is't it cute?

I really love this month kit - for it's variety. I used it to document both seasons summer and fall - our honey moon and everyday moments from November. In both cases it wasn't difficult at all. The kit was just great!

In my projects I also used colorful word stickers from December Embelishment Kit, which I think add some nice final touches to my pocket pages, everything else is from PL Kit.

3 to inspire with Mira

Hello Citrus Twist Kits fans!

Today I have a 3-to-Inspire Challenge for You with a few fun ideas on how to use the products in a creative way, and how to make use of Your kits to the very last bit! Are You ready for some inspiration?

This is a challenge for those of You, who need a little extra creative push to get scrapbooking, to keep scrapbooking or for those who just like a challenge! Your take on this challenge can be a layout or a PL spread and remember that you'll want to include all 3 prompts on your project.

This month I prepared two pocket pages using absolutely wonderful fall designs from PL Kit, to document single walk in the park, which turn out to be a really huge adventure for us!

We didn't expect to find squirrels in this park, and meeting with friends was also a huge surprise for us.

So what I did in this spread slightly different than I usually do:

1. I used a product packaging as a PL card. You can see it in the second page - the one with single picture and trees. Have You seen these new cardboards from exclusive Citrus Twist Kits die-cut packs, puffy stickers and alpha stickers packagings? I love their design - delicate grey stripes work really well on my pages! So this is absolutely NOT the last time when I include packaging in my projects!

2. On the exact same page (bottom left picture) I used a stamp "wild + free", but as You can see, I bent the stamp a bit and stamped these words as if they were a part of a circle. I was amazed how fun it turned out! Don't You think this is cool? The idea is easy but the effects are really different from usual! I am going to do it more often!

3. I created a title of my page using my own handwriting. This is not a common thing for me, as I usually don't like my handwriting. Especially in a big format. But I thought it might be something new, so I gave up the negative feeling and just did it! And I like it! The words I used are in polish and the title says: Autumn - the season of miracles.

Pocket Life Challenge with Mira Jurecka - let's make it green!

Hello on Friday!

It's Mira here and I have a very green post for You today! I hope You will enjoy this monochromatic Pocket Life Challenge!

I have two prompts and they are both associated with green color:

1. In Your pocket project use the pictures that are capturing something green, it can be grass, a garden. Or maybe some pictures about some the recent trip into the woods? The choice is Yours, but the most important is to choose the pictures with strong green accents.

2. When decorating Your pocket page use as many natural themes as possible. For example flowers, leaves, trees, clouds, etc.

Take a look at my two PL pages and see how I managed to follow the prompts:

I've choosen pictures from our visit to the park of mini trains and lighthouses, where there were plenty of grass, trees and mostly green scenery.

I created two journaling cards using green patterned paper with beautiful flowers. It was included in PL kit this month. 

In my project I also included this super-cool leaf die-cut to emphasice the outdoor character of our visit.

And here's the cork cloud which helped me tell the story about us, enjoying both: sunny and rainy days of our vacations. Those hearts falling from the cloud mean that we didn't mind the rain at all.
