Pocket Life With Evelyn Pratiwi Yusuf

There always be the 1^st time in our live to start something and yes this is my 1^st post about Project Life here in CTK blog as their Designer Team. Today I wanna share how I created Project Life only in one page not one spread. Why I did this? Because I’m pregnant and can’t sit for a long time but still wanna play with paper and documented my daily life through project life. I think do only one page project life is one of the best way to catch up your daily life in real life and still productive to catch up your project life. Am I right? No need to create only one page, If you feels you have much time than go head to continue to create one spread.

This is my Week 8, I use March 2014 Just Cruisin PL Kit, Nothing But Happy PL Embellishment Kit and I mix it with Happy Little Moments Embellishment Kit. I created my own weekly card, I trim 6x6 paper pad by Dear Lizzy. Not only weekly card but also another 3 cards, two in the top of my page and two in the bottom. The rest of it I use Project Life card special design by CTK.

This week its all about me and food. So I choose some of food photos and use it in this page. I’m not worry to use only 5 photos to describe my week. Sometimes project life isn’t all about you have to fill every single pockets with photo. If you have to choose why not? You will find similar photos and choose which one I the best to describe your week and do some description about it. You can show off your hand writing or you can type it via computer or using your cuty typewriter. Its all up to you, don’t stress and just having fun!

If we are talking about color theme, I choose yellow, soft pink and blue for my PL. I use my colors theme to choose the perfect card and embellishments to decorate my cards. I’m not really care about the photos, I believe that the photos will be match with any colors theme so I just confident to choose the one that I like.

6x6 Paper Play with Sam

Hello lovelies! Today is Sam to share a layout using 6x6 paper pad. I have very limited scrapping time this month. All thanks to the yummy March kit that keep my inspiration flowing. I made this quick layout under 30 minutes.

I printed a 4x6 photo for this layout because I want this layout to be really photo-focus. It is hard not to notice the photo because this selfie photo of me and my baby boy is filled up by our faces! And what is not to love when you have a poser baby who is obsessed with taking selfie? *lol*

Once I place the photo on the layout, I just cut a few stripes from the 6x6 paper pads to add layering under the photo. Layering done then I moved on to add some embellishments - stickers, cork sticker, enamel dots and stamp. I am in love with the mini cut-out from the paper pad that says ' Busy Being Happy'. What is better than busy being happy?

Loving this month stamp set that says 'do small things with great love' which is part of my motto ;) And I am also obsessed with the hot air balloon + gold heart-shaped enamel dots! 

I cut out the circle with 'Photo of the week' from one of the exclusive Pocket Life card and use it as title for this layout. This is so apt since this is our weekly selfie after Shichida class.

6x6 Paper Play with Evelyn PY

Hey everyone Happy Wednesday, hope you have a wonderful day. This is my 1st tutorial 6x6 paper play hope I can inspire all of you. In this tutorial I use Dear Lizzy's 6 x 6 Daydreamer. In love with the pastels color, it's so me!

My materials: Dear Lizzy's 6 x 6 Daydreamer, circle punchers, single photo (2R) and

Dear Lizzy Daydreamer 8 piece die set which you can buy at CTK store.

and this is my final result, clean and simple pastels layout using my 30 weeks of my pregnancy photo captured by my hubby.

Step by step

Choose some papers that you want to use in your layout according to your colors theme and start use your circle punchers. I have small and big one and I punch it as many as I want. After you already prepare some circles cut out, it's time to use your dies. This time I choose love, feather and cuty air balloon from Dear Lizzy Daydreamer dies set.

Every details in this layout only using 6x6 paper pad. 






I try to play with it for the first time and love it so much. Such as a new adventure for me in the scrap world only playing with 6x6 paper pad and its your turn to try it at home. See you in the next post!
