We just wrapped up one week, 7 full days, of celebrating (inter)National Scrapbook Day over on the Citrus Twist Kits Fan Page at Facebook. Yesterday's challenge inspired me to create these two pages for my Pocket Life. The challenge was to use these elements:
- the color gold
- wood chips
- create a PL card using stamping
I worked with the May Pocket Life and Main kits, available here, combining some favorites from both kits. The 6 x 6 Crate Paper Journey paper from the PL kit brought back favorite memories of time spent at my parents' place in Montana and my daughter--just this past week--had written a poem for her language arts class called Where I'm From. In it, she mentioned time spent at her grandparents.

This close-up is the PL card I made using stamping. I pulled from an assortment of Citrus Twist Kits stamps and stamped around the letter M (that was fussy-cut from a piece of Journey paper):
