Give Me Jesus | December GraceBox

Hi Everyone,  It's Gina Lideros here today to share an entry in my journaling bible using the December GraceBox!

I started off my page in 1 Peter 1:3 by painting abandoned coral paint (included in the kit) across the page and then I allowed it to dry.

Next, I used a variety of green, teal, white and orange gelatos across my page.  I used the stamp included in the kit with black dye ink to create a fun background on my page.

I used a fine tipped marker to place a box around my scripture 1 Peter 1:3.  I used some washi stickers, and die cuts to help highlight my page.

My journaling reads Give me Jesus 1 Peter vs 1:3 born again to a living hope.

Supplies Used:
Ranger Distress Paint, Abandoned Coral (from the Dec kit GraceBox)

Grace - August GraceBox

Hi everyone!
It's Gina Lideros again sharing with you a bible journaling page that I created using my August GraceBox kit.

I absolutely love the die-cut paper tags (Amy Tangerine) that are included in this month's GraceBox kit.  As soon as I saw them I knew right away that I wanted to add watercolors to them.  They inspired by art journaling pages this month.
I started by covering my pages with a thin layer of clear gesso.  Once, the gesso dried I decided to use the die cuts as stencils.  I placed one of the doily stencils on the left side of my page and then painted with watercolors over it.  Next, I repeated this step on the right side of my page.

One of my favorite watercolor sets to use are the watercolor confections sets by Prima.  They are  highly pigmented, which I love - I can always count on them to be bright and bold.  And they blend well too.  On my pages here I used pink and orange from the Tropicals set.

I also added watercolors to a die cut feather and owl, before adhering them down on my pages.

Next, I added some stamping and journaling to my pages.  Since my journaling is about God's grace I quoted 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

His Love - July Gracebox

Hi everyone!
It's Gina Lideros again sharing with you a bible journaling page that I created using my July GraceBox kit.

I started by adding color to my page first.  The gelatos that came in this month's kit were perfect for this.  The pink gelato has a shimmer to it that shines and looks fabulous.

Next, came the stamping.  I stamped crosses along my page, arrows and dots.  Down at the bottom of the page I used the stamp "We believe in God the father."  I had the opportunity to design the stamps included in the kit this month and this stamp was inspired by one of my favorite songs by the Newsboys.

I used the alpha stickers included in the kit to create my title and added some puffy stickers and washi tape too.   The cute little arrow paper clip was the perfect touch to finish off my page.

Gina Lideros - June Grace Box Tutorial

Hi everyone, it's Gina L. here today to share with you how I am using the June Grace Box kit!  This kit is perfect for fitting all of your bible journaling needs.

Today I would like to share with you step by step of how I used the June Grace Box kit to journal in the book of Esther.

When I saw the cards included in the June kit, I immediately thought about Esther's dilemma and decision in chapter 4:13-16.  The survival of her family was in her hands.  Esther accepted the challenge and proved brave. Her final words in verse 16 are "...and if I perish, I perish."  She accepted her fate and many people hail Esther as a hero.

To start my pages, first I gathered my supplies.  Then I painted a light pink and mustard gold across my pages.

Once it was dry, I painted some orange across my pages.  I used the orange twist paint and Illustrated Faith paint it card to apply the paint.

Next, I chose some of my favorite stamps from the kit and stamped the X background stamp across my pages.  I chose to used the "blessed assurance" quote and stamped on the right side of my page in the journaling column.

Next, I used a paperclip to clip the "trust in the Lord" card on the left hand side of my page.  I added a few die cuts and a custom word sticker to my pages.

I used a tab punch to punch out two tabs from a journaling card included in the kit.  I loved the pattern so much that I just couldn't wait to use it. I added a tab to both of my pages and then finished up my pages by journaling and adding a few more stickers.

My journaling reads: "Go and gather all the jews and fast for me".

May Gracebox kit: Nehemiah 4:20

Hi everyone, it's Gina L. here today to share with you how I am using the May Gracebox kit!  This kit is perfect for fitting all of your bible journaling needs.

The bible verse that I decided to highlight is Nehemiah 4:20 "Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!" Because this verse is so happy and full of praise, I chose happy and vibrant paints and supplies from the kit.

To start I painted pink, teal and yellow acrylic paints across my page.  Once the paint dried, I used the Tim Holtz Lace stencil with modeling paste.  Tip: I like to use a heat gun between layers to help the paint dry quicker.

I stamped the praise the Lord for the Lord is good stamp (included in the kit) onto a separate piece of white cardstock and adhered it onto the right side of my spread.

Next, I added some die cuts and puffy stickers from the kit.  I finished up by stamping the chevron stamp next to the verse that I'm highlighting.  I also stamped the date that I did the page.

The May Gracebox kit is sold out, but you can sign up now to start a subscription in June.
I can't wait to see what you create!
