Sunday Sketch with Tina

Hey CTK friends!

Tina here on the blog today to share a new Sunday Sketch Challenge with you! I loved playing with this sketch along so much and should say that my layout came together really quickly and easy thanks to the gorgeous February Add-On Kit !

First I decided to rotate the sketch 90° around to use a portrait style photo instead of a landscape one. After that I started to work on the background for my page and chose my favorite rainbow pattern paper from the Add-On Kit for this. I've fussy cut rainbow curves leaving a little bit of white paper on both sides of them and also I drew a few clouds on the rest of the paper and cut them out.

Next I punched holes along the edge of all the pieces I've prepared before and hand stitched them using matching embroidery thread. And then I adhered all the rainbow pieces and clouds onto the textured white cardstock from the kit.

After that I created a paper cluster behind the photo of my daughter and added journaling instead of the second photo on the sketch. Using lots of beautiful bits and pieces from the Add-On Kit I embellished the photo and journaling.

To finish my layout I added a title using the "Hello" puffy sticker and dark green alphabet thickers. It was such a pleasure to create this page with the help of such a gorgeous kit! I hope I was able to inspire you to use this week's sketch!

Life Crafted Album Spread with Tina

Hey there!

It's Tina here, and today I want to share with you my first project in a Life Crafted album using the gorgeous February Add On kit! Once I saw the beautiful pattern papers from the kit I knew exactly which photos I would use first.

So I started by deciding what layout I would use for the photos and stopped on a TN page on the left and a 4x6 plus a 4x2 (page protector #3) on the right. After that I chose three pattern papers from the kit that match the photos and trimmed them to the size needed for the layout. The paper with stripes was actually a perfect match for the photo with my daughter riding a bike as the light blue, mint and blush pink colors were in the same order on both of them.

To add a little bit of texture to the striped pattern paper I cross stitched here and there along the lines on it. After that I added some embellishments from the Add On kit and a chipboard sticker "go your own way" from the Life Crafted kit.

To finish this page I added a title using the puffy phrase stickers and adhered a lovely floral bow to the photo. Even though the bow made the page quite bulky I still managed to put it into the page protector #1, but then I decided to give a try to the new adhesive page strips and, OMG, it was love at first site!!! It looks so awesome and at the same time you can touch and feel all the texture of the page! And from now on we can make TN spreads as bulky as we wish and they will fit into the Life Crafted album perfectly! I'm just so excited about this product I can't stop talking about it.

Well, next I started working on the right hand side of the spread. I matted the second photo with a piece of a blue pattern paper to make the photo more visible on the page. Added a circle chipboard sticker and a few ephemera pieces here and there.

In the very end I decided to hand stitch the lines on the "get some sunshine and fresh air" ephemera and adhered some enamel dots here and there on the spread. And that's all! It was so much fun to play with this kit, I can't wait to share more projects with you later this month!

Pocket Traveler's Notebook Layout with Tina

Hello friends! It's Tina here today with you to share a new project using the beautiful January Life Crafted and Add-On Scrapbooking kits. I decided to create a layout about my cat Gandalf in the pocket traveler's notebook.

I started by trimming the photos of my cat to fit on the page, and then I adhered them to the right hand side of the spread to create a flip-up. After that I cut a mint pattern paper from the Life Crafted kit into two strips and glued them down on the both sides of the spread.

I really wanted to use the gorgeous gold glitter ephemera piece "fabulous" as a title, and as it was already consisted of two parts I adhered one of them on the photo and the other on the left hand side of the spread.

Next I simply made two ephemera clusters using the Add-On Kit, wrote down my journaling and added a few smaller embellishments here and there to add some dimension.

Life Crafted with Tina

 Hey there!

It's Tina here with you today and I am so exited to share my new project created with the January Life Crafted Kit "Fierce & Fabulous" and the awesome new stamp sets "All About the Numbers" and "Solid & Outline Alphabet & Number"! Even though I am considering myself as a shy stamper I literally can't stop using them because these stamps are so inspiring and versatile!

I started by trimming two pattern papers from the kit and created two base pages to fit into the page protectors #1. After that I matted the photo of my daughter with a text print paper and added a few ephemera pieces and puffy stickers around.

Next I adhered some ephemera pieces in the right bottom corner of the other page to balance this spread. And then I played a little with the new stamp sets to create some kind of a title of the layout. First I stamped the phrase "craft time, happy time" and colored the outlined letters with a light-blue marker. And after that I stamped a bunch of smaller words and phrases around the title using a few stamp sets from the previous kits.

Life Crafted with Tina

Hey there! It's Tina here today sharing a new layout in my Life Crafted album using the wonderful December Life Crafted and Add-On kit. Can't believe the month I was so looking forward to is already here! How's your December documenting going? I hope my project will give you a few ideas to use in your Christmas album.

This photo from last year wasn't included in my December Daily because it was taken in the middle of November. But my daughter and our cat Gandalf both look so cute in their Christmas outfits that I thought it must be documented. I started by choosing a few pattern papers that would match the photo. The mustard yellow one is my favorite from this kit so I used it as a background for the photo and trimmed it to fit into the Life Crafted album.

After that I added the title using black and white alphabet thicker stickers and a few of the biggest embellishments I chose. Next I added the smaller ones like stars stickers and a label with the phrase "up bright and early!" stamped on it using the Christmas Stories 2019 stamp.

On the right hand side of the spread I used a page protector #3. I printed my journaling on a piece of white cardstock that is slightly smaller than a 4x6 and backed it with a 4x6 piece of the dark red floral paper. I also edited the journaling before printing so that I can add this cute black bear die cut shape. At the top of this card I added a wreath label with a foil copper-gold word "joy" on it.

In the bottom pocket of this page protector I simply added a piece of the beautiful Christmas trees pattern paper with a phrase "season of joy" from the Add-On Kit ephemera pack.

Sunday Sketch Challenge with Tina

Hey there! It's Tina here today with this week's Sunday Sketch Challenge. And here's a look at the sketch:

For this project I decided to use both the November Gratitude Life Crafted Kit and the November Add On Kit.

I started by creating a paper cluster around the photos using pattern papers from the both kits. After that I added small details such as labels, puffy stickers and die cut shapes.

Next I adhered two strips of paper along the left side of a 12x12 white cardstock, added some splatters and glued down the paper cluster with the photos. Then I decided to use the "make your own magic" die cut shape from the Add On kit as a title, but to add some dimension I used puffy adhesive squares to add the title to the page. And after that I printed my journaling, cut it into a few strips and adhered it near the title.

In the end I decided to add a brown label with a date stamped on it under the pink strip of paper. And that's it. I really liked how easily this layout came together. "BeautiFALL" Life Crafted with Tina Stepanova

Hello CTK friends!

It's Tina here, and today I want to share with you a new Life Crafted project I made using the beautiful November "Gratitude" Kit.

I decided to combine documenting one of our recent hikes and gratitude journaling as this month's kit is perfect for both of these. So I started by decorating the photos of the first layout with some kind of title at the top using glitter alphabet stickers and a "time to unwind" puffy sticker. Next I trimmed a 3x4 journaling card to fit into the lower pocket of a page protector #3 and printed my journaling on it.

After that I cut out the quote from the turquoise journaling card and adhered its words to the butterfly card. And that's it, the first layout was finished.

On the back of the butterfly card I printed my gratitude journaling (I must say I did it before I adhered the quote I was telling you above). And then I added a cut apart purple label and a puffy sticker at the top of another photo of my family.

For the last page I chose a page protector #1, trimmed a piece of white cardstock to fit into it and created a fallen leaves pattern using die-cut vellum pieces from the kit. To add a little bit of dimension to the leaves I punched holes along the middle line of each leaf and hand stitched them with a mustard yellow thread. In the end I added a few chipboard pieces in the upper corner of the photo and created a title with glitter alphabet stickers.
