Life Crafted with Patricia

Hello CTK Friends!  The Life Crafted kit for July is my new favorite.  The colors in the kit are always so good to work with!  And the stamps get me inspired.  Today, I want to share how the pattern paper, and the new Wild At Heart stamp set inspired me to create this Life Crafted project today.

Citrus Twist Kits has some of the best vintage, modern, as well as some vibrant pattern papers.  I chose the bold citrus pattern paper to work with by punching it in various circles sizes.  This helps to break up the pattern and get the most bang from it!  Next, I stamped the cheetah/leopard? not sure which, from the Wild At Heart stamp set, in two shades of orange onto yellow cardstock, and then punched those out as well.  I added black machine stitching to all the circles.

I chose a memory that went really well with the animal print and pattern paper.  Once my photos were selected, I clustered the punched circles with die cuts onto more pattern paper from the kit, choosing a neutral background so that all that color can pop.  I used the '1' die cut to start my title along with the alpha stickers from the kit.  I finished the page with the year using the Bailey Alphabet stamp, chipboard and the NEW enamel dots from the kit!

This left side has no pattern paper, but I wanted to extend and use that animal print stamp in another way.  Using the same two shades of orange ink, I stamped diagonally across white cardstock.  Added black machine stitching along the stamping to continue that look from the left side.

I placed my photo, penciled in some lines, and added typed journaling between the stamping.

Then I finished the page with another stamped circle, die cuts and enamel dots from the kit to create a visual triangle of the yellow/orange from the left side.  The 'captured' die cut adds a nice triangle as well with the '1' and the dark wood die cut on the left.

This is a memory from a vacation, but this kit like all the Life Crafted kits, can stretch and be used for any memory.  Hope you enjoy the kit and stamps!
