Life Crafted With Theresa | Make Your Own Sunshine

Hello Lovelies, Theresa here with a Life Crafted layout for you! One of my favorite things about subscribing to Citrus Twist are the extras every month, including cut files! This Hello Sunshine Cut File is part of the exclusive subscriber files so be sure to check those out! I am using this cut file along with the July Best Of This Life kit and stamp set. Let's have a look!

First I cut my sunshine from two-sided card stock. One side is yellow, and one side is pink so when you turn the page you get a double punch of color! I also added a few of the enamel dots in the kit for a bit of color one each side of the cut.

There were triangles on one of the patterned papers, along with these tiny hexagons that also had the same triangles, so I have used these as the base for my design of this layout. I layered the patterned paper on top of the graph paper, and then adhered the hexagons above my photo.

I layered a few of the die cut ephemera around my photo, which is of the beautiful flowers my husband gave me for Mother's Day this year. I also added one of the tiny foam hearts beside the rainbow. All of these things help tell the story of how I feel without even saying a word on this page.

When you turn the die cut page, you will find the pink side, and more of those fun enamel dots layered on top! Everyone needs a bit of sunshine in their album and I love having this fun element included in between my pages.

My favorite part is how the photo underneath peeks through underneath the cut page. I cut my file just a bit smaller than the pages of the album, so layers from underneath the photo show through on the edges as well. So many delicious layers!

Sometimes you just want to include all of your favorite things on one layout, and that is exactly what I did here. The die cut florals in the ephemera pack were just gorgeous, so I cut them all in half and layered them along the edge here. This created the perfect space to journal about my flowers directly onto the patterned paper.

I added a few stamped sentiments as well in between some of the journaling lines, and added a tiny foam word sticker to the top of my page as well.

I had so much fun creating this multi-dimensional layout and have loved sharing it with you! Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are inspired to create in your Life Crafted album today, please share with us on social media. We would love to see what you are creating! See you again soon!
