Sunday Sketch with Emma

Hi everyone!  Emma here with this week's Sunday Sketch!

Let's take a look at this weeks sketch:

It's a great looking sketch right?!  First thing I'm drawing to is that diagonal line running from one corner to the other, plus those little clusters at the bottom left and top right (title).

In typical Emma-style though (ha!), I couldn't follow the sketch exactly...  Here's my page:

For my diagonal lines I actually stitched white cardstock strips on top of the white background (I'm a sucker for white on white) plus I added a few triangle pieces of pattern paper in the opposite corners to frame my photo's and help your eyes follow diagonal lines.  I used one of the 6x6 papers from the Pocket Life kit because it already looks like multiple patterned paper stitched together!

I kept with two (2) photo's like the sketch but I turned them upside down so my title is at the bottom and the cluster of embellishments is at the top.

I added a few of the sequins and cork hears from the Main kit to add a bit of colour - bonus points that the donut's actually match the colours of my page :)
