I pulled product mostly from the April PL kit and couldn't resist using some of the new Citrus Twist Kits/Pinkfresh epoxy stickers, too. I also used sequins and acrylic hearts from the April Sprinkles kit.
I just had to play with the new Becky Higgins roller phrase stamp! I like how many different uses I'll be able to get out of the stamp:
Here is a close-up using one of the phrases and one of the patterned lines from the new Becky Higgins stamp:
My 9x12 page was built around this homemade vellum pocket. I made it by cutting two pieces of vellum to 3x4 inches each and stitching the vellum together on three sides. Next I used my StazOn ink to stamp on the vellum, positioned one of the (adorable!) Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine epoxy stickers, then stitched the top shut. (See my challenge to you below!):
I used some woodgrain paper from Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine to create the background for my title card. Two alphabets in this month's PL kit made it fun to mix and match a title, plus I picked one of the stamps from the Becky Higgins roller stamp:
Couldn't stop myself from doing a little layering! I keep a stash of grid paper and vellum in my craft room to help build up the layers, plus threw in that bright Amy Tangerine triangle paper:
Here are your sketches, plus I have a challenge for you! Make your own vellum stitched pocket for one of your pages this month.

ReplyDeleteI never thought to make one of my own, Maren. It was beyond easy (as long as you have a sewing machine!)
