Sunday Sketch with Our Guest Designer

Malika here to share my take on the sketch this week.  I loved the sketch that Kasia created for me.  It was already looking like my style of sketch - a generous amount of white space and clustered embellishments, so I didn't do too much to change it up.  I did, however, add a tone on tone sunburst to the background of my layout.  I wanted it to be subtle, yet still be noticeable so that it would give my layout some depth.  I used my sewing machine to stitch on each of the rays of the sunburst to add even more texture.  From there, I followed the sketch rather closely using the main kit as my base and adding some Polka Dot Party Tags, and a Ribbon Photo Corner, a Junkyard Findings Heart Gear and a piece of Citrus Twist Flair from the Embellie Kit.
