Create your own patterned paper with stamps!

Hi Guys! Diane here to show you how to create your own totally customisable pattern paper using the Simple Words Version 2 stamp set! Okay, technically you can use any stamp set, but this one is perfect!

The first step is to remove the backing sheet from your stamp set but leave all the stamps attached! Then add some double sided tape to the front of the stamp set sheet and stick it to a very large block. If you don't have a stamp block large enough, try using something else large and flat, but it needs to be clear!

Ink up the entire set and stamp it onto your paper. You can use plain paper like I did, or tey adding the stamping over top of an existing patterned paper. Choose a colour to coordinate with your photos. You could make cards for your pocket pages or even a full 12x12 sheet! Endless options.

To add a little colour, I used two different blue highlighters to highlight different phrases in the pattern. Try to spread any colour you add around the page but feel free to make it as random as you like! And that's it. Simple right?!

Once the pattern paper was created, I really simple put the page together but adding some patterned paper from the Life Crafted kit to mat my photos, cut a few labels from the cut apart sheet, added a title and a cork sticker and then popped some journalling into the blank space on my photo. The whole thing took 25 minutes from start to finish!

Here's a look at the process this spread took ...

Thanks for stopping by today and I'd love to see any page you create using this technique so don't forget to tag me and share in the Facebook Fan page!
