Let's get digital with Diane

Digital stamps can seem a little daunting but are an awesome way to create your own quick and unique projects. There are SO many ways to use digital stamps but here are just a few of my favourites:

1. Use them directly on your photos.

You can use an app like Letterglow to add your digital stamps directly to your photos on your phone before you print them out, or you can always use a programme like Photoshop. For the photos in this Project Life spread, I added them directly on my phone and then wirelessly printed them. Didn’t even need to leave the couch!

2. Use them as cut files with  your silhouette.

I created the title for this layout with a digital stamp that I traced and cut with my Silhouette. But if you don’t have a Silhouette, you could always print the stamps and then carefully cut it out with a knife. Don’t forget to print them in reverse so that when you flip it over it is the right way around!

3. Create stitching patterns with them.

Print your digital stamp at the size you need on a piece of regular printer paper, then place it over your layout and pierce little holes around the edges with a pin or needle. Then all you need to do is stitch, stitch, stitch!

4. Use them to create your own patterned paper or filler cards.

Using a programme like Photoshop, you can re-colour and re-size your digital stamps to create your own cards and papers to perfectly match your kits.

I’ve created a set of brush script digital stamps for you that perfectly co-ordinate with the kits this month. You can find them over on the Citrus Twist Kits Facebook Fan Page. I’d love to see what you create with them so don’t forget to link to your creations in the comments below!
