NSD Challenge #4 with Jennifer

Thank you for stopping by to see today's daily NSD challenge on our blog! We hope these challenges will inspire you to scrapbook throughout this week. For each daily challenge you participate in you'll earn one chance to win (Participate 1 day, earn one chance to win. Participate 2 days, earn 2 chances to win. The more you participate, the bigger your chances to win!). We will draw one winner for a $100 embellishment grab bag. On May 11th we'll announce the lucky winner. To be entered into the daily drawing, post your layout to your online scrapbooking forum of choice, mention the Citrus Twist Kit challenge in your layout write up, then pop back to the Citrus Twist challenge blog you based your project on and leave a comment. Don't forget to visit the CTK Store to see new items, sale items and NSD grab bags! Thinking about subscribing to our Main or Pocket Life kits? We have a special offer for those new subscriptions between now and May 7th.

NSD Challenge #4 - Use a sketch + Vellum on your layout

***

Here is this week's sketch! My challenge to you is to use the sketch along with vellum on your layout.

Here's the layout I created using the main kit this month. I used the vellum that's in the kit along with some watercolors from my stash to complete the background.

I love the Thickers in the kit along with the exclusive wood veneer!

I hope you'll play along with today's challenge! Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!

  1. I used my December CT kit for this layout and love that it is versatile enough for everyday layouts! The vellum is on the bottom section of the patterned paper on the right, to tone down the 'white' with a smoky vellum. Fun sketch! http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/477732-pink/1994908-my-guy/

  2. I used a combination of several kits and my stash. Behind the 2 pictures is green vellum and there are vellum die cuts all around the pictures. I twicked the sketch to work for my pics! It is found here http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/128766-mommamoonrn/1994991-nsd-projects-2014/

  3. I used recent papers of American Craft and Pink Paislee.
I remained rather faithful to the sketch, I just modified the proportions.
