3-to-1 Inspire with Sabrina

Hi everyone this is Sabrina and I’m excited to share a 3-to-1 Inspire project. I used many of the October digitals to bring these Life Crafted pages together.

Here are my 3-to-1-Inspire:

- use the digitals

- stamp some phrases

- use a floating element in your project

I wanted to document my daughter and her love of these 2 skeleton creatures- a bird and a cat. She has always loved all things Halloween since she was a toddler. I knew the October digitals paired perfectly with the photos I took of her holding our 2 new decor pieces.

I used several of the TN digital papers and even recolored the letters “spooky” on one of the Flourish travelers notebook papers. I also printed out all the Halloween tags and ephemera from the Flourish Printable Tags. There are so many fun pieces in the October digitals to document all the spooky moments!

I then added in some enamel dots, stamp sets ( Flourish Life Crafted Kit Stamp and the October 2020 Life Crafted Traveler's Notebook) and 2 papers from the Flourish kit- woodgrain and gray- to add to my project. My next step was to start building my Life Crafted spread. I started by matting both photos on the wood grain paper and tearing the edges. I used the gray paper to cover up the “magic hour” at the bottom since I had a journal card and didn’t need a second journaling spot.

For my 3x4 insert I had a journaling card “here for this” that I recolored to match the orange color from the pumpkin in the “spooky” TN paper. I also decided to have the digital tag and circle element as floating pieces in the bottom 3x4 pocket. I love how the floating cluster turned out and I hope you give it a try in your project. I then put on the finishing touches with the stamp phrases and enamel dots. A festive Life Crafted spread to document this story of my daughter's new spooky creatures.

I hope this project inspires you to try out your digitals and use my 3-to-1 Inspire to make a fun project. Have a wonderful day!

Life Crafted with Sheree

Hi everyone!

Today I have a life crafted spread to share with you featuring the beautiful October 2020 “Flourish” Life Crafted Kit and two of the fun stamp sets on offer this month too.

As soon as I saw the October 2020 This is Life “Ready for This” stamp set I knew it would be perfect for documenting the pretty flowers that have appeared on my succulents this month.  I stamped the plant label stamp three times onto white cardstock then added the “bloom”, flower and “grow” stamps to the centre of each one.  I also stamped the phrase “All kinds of happy” from the October 2020 Traveler’s Notebook Stamp Set onto the cardstock, then cut everything out ready to use on my spread.

For the first page of the spread I added strips of the green floral and polka dot papers to the left side of the white cardstock, then added stitching before positioning my 1.5 inch square photos down the left side of the page.  I then added the stamped plant labels down the right side of the page with foam dots to add some dimension.

For the second page of the spread, I used the green floral as the background and stitched a border.

I added the stamped title at the top with a piece of the polkadot paper layered in behind it.  Under that is the “right here” piece from the Printable “Flourish” Cutapart Elements sheet.  A row of stitching was added to both of these pieces.

I added my journaling onto one of the journaling cards from the kit using my computer and printer, added it to the centre of the page and stitched around the edge.  I embellished the card with two puffy stickers in the bottom right corner.

At the bottom of the pages is a label, also from the printable cutapart elements sheet, that I’ve stamped with the date.  I also layered another piece of the polka dot paper underneath and stitched across the label.

There is a process video below if you’d like watch how I’ve put this spread together…

I hope I've inspired you to do some stamping on your next project!

Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today!

Sparkle and Joy Inspiration with our Guest Designer Vania Fonseca

Hi there!

Today we are excited to welcome Vania Fonseca to the CTK blog.  She will be sharing a few ideas for your December Documenting using our Sparkle and Joy Kit.... I let Vania take it from here...

_____________

Hello crafty friends!

Vânia here, I´m sharing some inspiration with the Sparkle & Joy kit on my December Daily album.

DD it's a big project and can be a little overwhelming, this year, i will be preparing as much as  I can in advance and I´ll be making the foundation pages.

I decided to use a white background with a couple of greenery elements from the Icons cut file, that I cut in white just to add texture to the page.

For the tittle on the left side i stamped the word Story from the True Life stamp set in red. I really love the contrast between the red and the light blue from the die cut ephemera with the gold from the puffy stickers.

On the right I made a banner mixing different elements, I punched a hole on some of the die cut images so I could pass the twine along and also cut the star tag from the cut file that I had mentioned above, I also have used the puffy stickers to add the day number.

I´ve used the number “5” from the Countdown cut file to indicate the day, and I´ve made a little flip up where you can add a 3x4 photo and add the journaling on the bottom.

Just a little reminder, when you are working on foundation pages non permanent adhesive is your best friend, that way if you decide to change anything later, you can do it without any problem.

Here i made a pocket with tags to store another tag where can be added a 2x2 photo. It can also be added another photo or journaling on the back of the tag.

And that's all for today, thank you for passing by, I really hope you find some inspiration here and have fun creating with this amazing kit!

Happy crafting!

Memory Planner with Alena

Hello friends!

Here is my new spread in the Memory Planner format.

This month's Kit has a lot of pastel color embellishments. They are very suitable for my photos.

As usual, I used digital journal cards.

In the empty cells, I just placed pieces of patterned paper.

 I love these beautiful flowers.

Open Post | October pocket pages spread with Lory

Hey there! How are you friends? It's a very strange period all over the world and I think that never like now creativity is our best and stronger weapon! Creativity keeps our mind healthy and same and this is so important! Especially during hard times! It's my way to download  stress, worries, and to drive down bad thoughts. Are you agree?

I have finally received my new Life Crafted albums and I couldn't wait to use the new page protectors! I am a fan of insta images and it was a lot I wanted to use one of it.  Why do I love pocket pages, Life crated album so deeply! Because this kind of creativity, storytelling has stole my heart! It's a way to feel better and to put outside what I have inside me. I often love to write, to tell something about me, my current feelings, my current mood. Small vittoriese are the best! They are the greatest one step at a time! Slowly but constantly!

So I told this little but so meaningful stories and I repeat to myself "don't  give up"!

To tell my story I have used the lovely October kit Flourish together the September kit The best part. I created my own embellishments with the fabulous READY FOR THIS stamps and stitching each comic strip to the background paper. I have added a phrase that reminds me to not give up, to embrace imperfection, to grow and bloom!

Love the final result. Then I added a piece of paper from the july scrapbook add on kit. That phrase was perfect for this story.  In the end just added my computer journaling in a 3x4 journaling card and than a quote card perfect to me! Less Rush more Life! So meaningful!

What do you think? With the amazing Citrus Twist stamps you can create gorgeous embellishments! I can't finish to tell my stories without the use of a stamp! Love them all to pieces!

Thank you so much for watching and can 't wait to see how you use these so adorable page protectors. Hope to inspire you.

Have a great day.

Love, Lory

Pocket Page Challenge with Erica

Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a weekly Project Life spread for the Pocket Page Challenge using the gorgeous October Flourish kit.

I used this week to document a fun weekend of gardening and some crazy weather that impacted the whole city. I love the fact that this blue quote card matched my sweater! And who doesn't love a before and after photo?

On my title card I used some of the leftover plant labels that I stamped for a previous layout (using the Ready For This stamp and Italic Alpha Stamp). I chose a hot pink ink to match the colour in the kit and I love how bold it is! It goes perfectly with the teal alphas in the kit.

I used the Digital Journal Cards to type my journaling this week, and added some numbers to create bullet points. This makes it a lot easier for me to get the words out. I also remembered to take a screenshot of a news article at the time so I could be reminded of the chaos it caused. A tiny word sticker and a cute monkey icon were all it took to jazz it up.

It's very rare that I have two journaling spots on my spreads but this 'currently' card was my favourite thing in the kit. I used the digital version again to add my typing. And to finish off my spread I added a healthy sprinkling of enamel dots to several cards.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. See you next time!

Scrapbooking your December Memories with NADIA

Hello there!

Today our Sparkle & Joy kit guest designer, NADIA is sharing a fun idea to stretch your kit and use it on  a Scrapbook layout.  I leave you with Nadia...

__________________________________________________

Hi there, friends!

This is Nadia and today I want to share with you a fun Christmas layout. Have you seen the beautiful Sparkle and Joy Kit..Go to the shop and get yours. Only a few are left.

First, I decided which picture I want to have for my project. The one I took is from our last Christmas. It is special to me because this was the first festivity as a family of four.

I always start with my picture and then I look for some paper and embellishments, which go best with it. I love the color turquoise and there was a tender design paper in the kit. It is perfect. This is the basis for my layout.

In addition, I choose two 3x4” journaling cards for this page and I placed them left and right next to the family picture. Afterwards, I put a puffy sticker (twinkle) to one and some Die-Cut Cardstock Ephemera to the other. You will find all those bits and pieces in the Sparkle and Joy Kit.

This time I had Christmas ornaments in my mind and thought it would be fun to include them on my page. You will find the perfect paper in the kit. I fussy cut those ornaments and glued them down. Finally, I added some stitching to the page to make it more interesting. Some tiny, white wooden beads from my stash were hand-stitched to my page too. It took some time, but it is worth it.

First, I decided that my page is done. After looking at the lovely stamp set, which was included in the kit, I had the idea to stamp some sentiments on three ornaments. I love how it turned out. Those little details make me happy.

My Sparkle and Joy kit came in a little box and there were some green sequins and gold stars floating in it. I took them out of the box and saved them for my projects. Sequins and stars for the win. On the bottom right corner, I put a gold star and the date to my page.

I love it clean and simple. My focus is on the picture and the words (which are still missing at this time. I will write them down later).

I hope this inspires you to document your December Stories with the Sparkle and Joy kit.

 Happy crafting!

Nadia
