Hey friends! It's Kira and I have a 12x12 layout to share using the June "Cypress" main kit.
I started this page with these two adorable pictures of my youngest son. Outdoor photos always turn out so gorgeous (even taken on an iPhone!) but ours tend to have lots of bright, primary colors due to the toys, along with our green landscape. It makes scrapbooking with them a little more challenging. But how perfect is that yellow pom pom trim for these photos?!
That pom pom trim served as my jumping off point for the rest of the page. I loved the idea of wrapping it around my page so it could "hold" my photos in place.
The Elle's Studio bits and pieces helped me to plan out the rest of the page. There were a few blue stars in the pack that worked perfectly with the blue in my photos. I used those stars as inspiration to die cut some more stars from my Cricut, and also punching some smaller stars with my punches. I added a tiny bit of adhesive to each star, and then machine stitched upwards from the pom pom trim towards the top of my page.
I used the Crate Paper Wild Heart Thickers for my title. Sun + Fun perfectly described our day! I added a few more pieces from Elle's Studio bits and pieces, sticking to the blue, teal, grey and yellow color scheme I had created for my page.
I pulled in some circular elements with the ES epoxy stickers. So it made sense to sprinkle some of the Wander enamel dots around the page.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
xo, Kira

May Product Highlight : Alphas & Thickers
Hi dear CTK friends! It's Jordan and Anna here today to share a couple layouts featuring some of the Alphas and Thickers in the May Kits.
First out is me, Anna with this quite graphic design. I've used the gorgeous blue-black glittery Thickers by Shimelle Box Of Crayons from the May Paradise Add On Kit. And yet a few more goodies from the other kits as Malibu Main, Embellishment and Pattern Paper Play as well :)
And there you go - an delightful page made with lots of gorgeous Thickers (and a few other gorgeousness of course)
Now it's your turn, get your hands on your Alphas & Thickers :)
Anna xo
Hey, hey friends! Isn't Anna's layout amazing? I love the contrast between the dark, glittery Thickers and the background, and that star cut file...just too good!
I have another layout to share with you today using the May "Malibu" Scrapbook kit, the May Embellishment kit, and the alpha and a few papers from the "Malibu" PL kit.
If you're familiar with my projects you have probably noticed by now that I LOVE to use Thickers sentiments for my titles. They're beautiful, always have the perfect sentiment, and are just so darn easy and quick! And who couldn't use a time saver?
I really love circles on my layouts. Here I used a few various sized punches and cups and lids to trace larger circles. Once I had everything in place and my title down, I felt like the layout was missing something. I added the "love" to a punched circle using the alpha from the PL kit and it just fit. :)
I finished the layout off by adding a few of the other sentiments and hearts from the Thickers pack. That gold was just the perfect touch, don't you think?
That's it from us. We hope we have inspired you to search your stash for Thickers and Alphas for fun, quick titles!
Please share your projects with us on our Facebook page and on Instagram using the hashtag #citrustwistkits. We love to see what you create!
Have beautiful week!

Let's Get Digital with Nathalie
Hi there!
Nathalie back with you all, bringing you a bit of inspiration using one of this month's digital cut files. You can find all the digital files in the CTK Fans Page on Facebook.
The wreath file was inspired by the Flourish collection floral motifs include in this month's Cedar Grove kits. The small branches in the wreaths are delicatee and soft, and can form the perfect background for all the florals in the collection.
If you have seen my work before, then you know, I love wreaths, but this time i used a combination of them to creaete a vertical design for my page. To emphasize the softness of the wreath, a piece of the Always paper from Flourish collection, and stitch it to a piece of white cardstock.
Once the three small wreaths were glued to the page. I added the picture of my baby girl inside the middle wreath. To keep the romantic look of the page, i layered a piece of the music sheet to the picture, and fussy cut ( my favorite floral) from the 6x8 paper from the Flourish collection included in the PL kit. to create the clusters around the picture.
A few lines of ephemera, and little sentiments from the stamp sets complete this page. I just love how this all came together.
Remember to stop by the CTK Fans Page on Facebook for your copy of this month's files. I cannot wait what you create with the files and this month's Cedar Grove Kits!
XO

Sunday Sketch with Nathalie
Hi there!
Nathalie with you today bringing this week's sketch! I was drawn to all the layers behind the picture, and i knew it can easily work for me (with a few twists, of course!). Here is this week's sketch:
and here is my take on this sketch ( i tried my best to stay true to the sketch!)
It all started by creating the layers of papers behind the pictures, for that i used the B side of some of the papers from the Good Vibes and Flourish collections included in the Cedar Grove Main Scrapbook and Patterned paper kits. A few extra details in between the layers just adds more interest to the pictures!
All those large pieces of ephemera (from the Flourish collection) were the right size to fit as distress layers behind the pictures. The sketch also contained a small vertical piece in the back of all the pictures, since i couldn't find anything that caught my eye, I chose to replace it with a cut file and a bit of mixed media (just blended some Distress Oxide inks and sprinkled a bit of water to bleach it a bit!)
I am in love with the beautiful alphas included in this month's Cedar Grove Main kit, and used them to create the title of this page. A few lines of journal, some rose gold ink splatters and a few stamped images (This month's stamps are awesome!!!) complete the page.
Now it is your turn to put your touch on this week's sketch!. Remember to use today's date when uploading your project to the CTK gallery or the CTK Facebook Fans page (you can be eligible to win a $5 gc to the CTK store).
I cannot wait to see what you create!
XOXO
Nathalie
